With the recent release (or probably, crash) of Home for PlayStation 3, Microsoft has decided to flex muscles showing the possibilities of the NXE in form of new free clothes, a Xmas greeting tool and Snow Globes where your alter-ego can meet your friends.
While PS3 users have to pay prices between 0.49$ and 0.99$ for a whole plethora of clothes and pieces of furniture for their personal creations, Microsoft has confirmed that (for the time being?) they don't intend to earn any cash with the Xbox Live Avatars.
GiantBomb: "The New Xbox Experience, or NXE, overhauled the XBOX 360's dashboard, released on November 19th, 2008."
Those blip sounds are awfully annoying. Can't understand why people don't turn them off...
Loot Ninja writes: "Networking communities these days harp on and on about the closeness of their members. There are so many out there on the internet that it's hard to distinguish which ones are which? Well, I guess that's only true if you were to ask anyone over the age of 40. It doesn't matter whether the community is your lame ass company putt-putt tournament featured on ESPN 4, or online friend communities like Myspace and Facebook, they all try to bring people closer together (and even some people you don't want to). Yep, I'm talking about Herbie "Pervy" in Accounts Recieveable."
Videogamer posts their video preview of the NXE Fall Update.
