Capcom is currently working on a huge balance patch for Street Fighter 6 season 2 ahead of the release of Akuma.
Capcom has revealed the Street Fighter 6 Akuma release date, along with a gameplay trailer that shows how the demonic warrior fights.
The Street Fighter series has a long history, but which are the seven best games the franchise has yet offered to gamers?
Cautiously optimistic about Street Fighter 6. I (mostly) like the new design-style for the graphics, backgrounds are looking promising (although colors look a bit too muted for my taste), and the character-design for 6 with both the new characters as well as their outfits/‘look’, seems miles better than both 4 & 5.
They’ll probably kill my mild excitement with their usual greedy DLC plans, as all fighting games do nowadays, but still, it has potential.
Improved character models for sure. Would have preferred Sagat and Vega over a couple of these…but a pretty solid roster with the original world warriors

The trailer practically leaks the whole cast. And I’m sure even the planned future dlc. They show 3 new characters in the cgi alone and guile, can’t at the hub area.
There’s also potential classic cabinets that allow you play classic capcom games online with friends. Please don’t be the judge mental internet that bashes before information is fully confirmed.
Please be the patient, cautiously optimistic internet that takes the info as it goes. I really dont want to see street fighter crucified again. Especially, when SFV kept EVERY promise and intention they made from the announcement. And, SFV is such a great game in the end. (Regardless if you still feel jaded you didn’t get a character you wanted or that person that didn’t buy it at all because of whatever random reason)
Can we just talk about how badass Akuma looks?
