ps3.qj.net: Is PixelJunk Eden really that hard? I haven't played it yet so I can't say anything certain about the difficulty, but Q-Games has released details on the PixelJunk Eden patch that we mentioned a while ago.
The new patch will add a new continue system for those instances when you run out of time. There's also a new control system, "lots more time to spare", and a smoother multi-play camera.
The PixelJunk Eden patch is slated for a December 19 release in Europe and Japan. It's still labeled as "Coming soon" for the US. Keep checking back here for more updates.

If you know anything about Q-Games, you know that we made a name for ourselves during the PlayStation 3 era with our acclaimed PixelJunk series. Debuting way back in 2007, we were one of the first indies to cut our teeth on the newly released console. Our idea for the series was simple: rework old school gaming concepts in beautiful high-definition visuals, while keeping the easy to learn, difficult to master gameplay that made us fall in love with games in the first place.
indiePub has published its weekly update of new and notable indie games on the Playstation Store Indie Games Channel.
Best bets this week include: Pixel Junk Eden, where you explore a gorgeous world; Do Not Fall, an intense action/platformer; Farming Simulator, where you must grow and maintain crops; Total Recoil, a fun, explosive arcade shooter; Kung Fu Rabbit, where you must save your disciples with your combat prowess, and Men’s Room Mayhem, where you become the janitor of a men’s room.
PSU takes a look at game developers that brought us great games this console generation, but didn't get the attention they deserved.
It's not so much hard as it is really frustrating. It's entirely the timer's fault. Would be a really relaxing (but also really easy) game without the timer.
Should be like "Get a Gold star if you beat this level in this certain time limit. Get a silver for this time limit...etc"
Then it would been easier.
I'd love a mode with no time limit, when you want to enjoy the sound and visuals, with no "risk".
Think freemode in Rez.
I hope the new control system is single tap to jump, and hold jump to jump with the thread. That would make it so much more intuitive.
Awesome!
