Agreed, rather they put out something impressive than half baked. But I do wish they would remove it from the "coming soon" on gamespass, it has been on the list as if it is a playable game for about 6 months now.

I just obtained an XBSS & so far there are no XB/MS AAA exclusives releasing within the 1st to 3rd quarter of this year to look forward to except for Crossfire X (another shooter) & hopefully that doesn't get delayed. No shade but most of 2022 will be dry when it comes to XB/MS AAA exclusives. Hopefully XB/MS will start releasing a steady flow of AAA exclusives in 2023/2024. Edit. Stalker 2 really isn't an XB exclusive. Damn the first half of the year for XB exclusives is dry.

Don't really care about exclusives personally. Don't really care about who owns what system, for the most part they all do the same thing about equally. I just like playing the game, I don't understand all of the drama regarding exclusives. I guess it is just supposed to validate your choice of systems?? I'm seriously curious about this. I just don't get it, but perhaps I just don't have the passion for gaming that I did when I was younger.

It’s really not that deep. I like Sony exclusives and Nintendo exclusives so I buy those systems. I’m interested in the Xbox and PC gaming mainly for WRPGs that aren’t coming to those other systems. I got a PS5 mainly because of its exclusives, the dual sense controller and Final Fantasy 16.

They had a pretty damn great last 6 months, and there are games coming down the pipeline.

Should I point out Sony hasn't delivered much of anything in that same time period, just so we can keep repeating these dumb console wars? Gamers should be happy these companies are putting out great products. Not snubbing the other for artificial brownie points from their favorite multinational which doesn't even know they exist.

To be fair, I either expected or hoped for this. Stalker 2 has a lot to live up to and I just couldn’t believe we’d have that game in our hands so close after it’s reveal with so little gameplay or anything shown of it just yet. I’m bummed I’ll have to wait but a bit relieved at the same time. A game like this needs time and polish for sure

It'll be Feb 2023 imo, they won't release it even if it's ready over the Xmas holidays up against the usual cod, vr2, etc etc. Best give it some breathing space in its release window imo.
