Publisher FDG Entertainment and developer Game Atelier have released the PlayStation 5 version of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom via PlayStation Store. Users who already own the PlayStation 4 version can upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version free of charge. The PlayStation 5 version features DualSense wireless controller support, and runs in native 4K resolution and 120 frames per second.
Also added this month: The Evil Within, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Paradise Killer, Dishonored: Definitive Edition.

It’s a really fun game when there’s a lot of people on but the player base dropped a lot compared to launch. This should help increase the amount online drastically.

Riders Republic is a ton of fun and one of the best things Ubisoft has done in recent years IMO.
The music and acting are obnoxious, which I just turn down... but it's so much just freeriding mountain bikes or other stuff across the mountains. I haven't played w friends, but I imagine it would be a ton of fun in MP. Very underrated game!
I kept getting caught up in other games so I never got around to buying Doom Eternal. If it's good I'll still buy it so i can keep it. The reboot was awesome, i think i played through it about 5 times, and platinumed it.
Same here, I've had Doom Eternal on my wishlist for a long time. I'm definitely jumping in considering the free PS5 upgrade they released.
It is a lot of fun. First FPS in a while that has really grabbed me. And I love FPS games. C’mon Killzone/Resistance series remasters/remakes/sequels…anyt hing.
I agree , Sony has not produced a single player FPS campaign in about 8 years. I already played DOOM Eternal which was awesome.

Damned if you do and damned if you don't with that one I think. When a former monthly free game goes into the subscription catalog at a later date it also gets criticism, so may as well just add it straight away for people who don't claim it going forward I guess.
Hopefully the claim on the game counts as a essentials claim so when the game leaves the catalogue it doesn't leave the players library.
I found a similar situation frustrating I played fallout 76 when it was introduced as a premium game a month or so later it was a essentials game and I could not repurchase it so I'll lose the game when it leaves the Library
Spiderman is in the titles leaving Extra in May. Guess 1st party titles aren't guaranteed to stay
That's just the way of subscription services in general, titles come and go, but I'm sure it'll be back. Maybe it's a Quantum Break deal where it's just a license refresh?
It's one of the reasons I fear a subscription/digital only future. I don't want the platforms telling me what I can and can't play at any given time and waiting of tenterhooks for games I actually want to be available.

Yes, I want to be in this generation not the last one. The switch launched with outdated tech it's simple as that, no matter how much you want to cling to yours.
That said, nintendo is probably on your side, they are slowest to adapt to anything.
I know, it's the same with the PS4 and Xbox one, people just want shiny new things all the time and I don't understand it (own something for two or three years, buy a new one). I honestly thing they want consoles to be treated like phones where you upgrade every other year even if there's no significant difference.
Outlawzz by technicals, Switch is actually 9th gen with PS5 and XSX/S so even if you say that/ They were okay specs for when it released. If they rush a next system it'll just be the same situation again. It's better they wait it out a bit

Yea nintendo is stuck in this awkward in between generations type thing they set themselves up with. So that when they put new tech in it's already behind the competition. It actually makes sense to wait from that perspective.
I just feel if the switch had better specs closer to ps4 or xb1 at release it wouldn't be as much of an issue for me personally since I feel the graphics for ps4 are more than adequate and don't hugely limit developers, so much so, that I don't feel the need to upgrade to ps5 or series x just yet. Switch specs I feel really do hinder many of the bigger developers.

For every sequel Playstation gave us this gen, they also gave us a new IP. Ratchet=Bloodborne. God of war= Horizon Zero Dawn. Infamous SS=Days Gone. The Last of Us=Ghost of Tsushima...Then there is Until Dawn, Astro Bot, Detroit, The last Guardian.
Left out a bunch of games like Spider-man to make my point. Take away ports and sequels on switch and what do you have? Ooya?

Sure not every game there is amazing (though certainly many of them are and just a few are mediocre or bad), but they are certainly not ports.
You might not like those games, but saying the switch only has ports is just straight up ignorance, not to mention seeing how practically no one bought a WiiU, those ports are finding quite a few dozens of millions of people that never had a chance to play them before
Lol you can't use games that are years away for an argument about the Switch's current library that's like more than half your list that doesn't count at all. And if you're a Wii U owner like myself there is zero reason to buy a Switch considering most of the games worth playing ARE ports. Until they can match Xbox/ps4 in terms of graphic power and start delivering well done games in 4k I just see no reason to own a switch if you own a Wii U

There are 8 upcoming games out of 41 on that list (42 if you count daemonXmachina which i forgot about).
How is that more than half? And thats leaving aside that upcoming games are just as important as the ones already out when looking at whether a console is worth a purchase.
Even if you take out the upcoming games from those 42, there are still 36 additional exclusives that are NOT ports of anything on that list
It will certainly be inferior to the xbox serie s... But anyway People will not complain in this case that it will be holding back the entire gen... Pffff
