Gamespot: Flower Hands-On

At the E3 Media & Business Summit and the Tokyo Game Show, we were mesmerized by how Flower was able to provide such a beautiful experience visually and aurally. Starting off as a lost single petal, you'll unite with as many petals as you can as you float and swirl across the clear blue skies and skim along the swaying blades of grass. Gamespot recently had an opportunity to play through the first three levels of Flower, and even though they've seen these stages before in previous demos, they can't help but sit back and stare at the continuously changing canvass.

Review - Flower (PC) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Leo Faria: "Flower is a gorgeous, well-crafted and relaxing game, but I have to say, I don’t get the massive love towards it. Its “story”, if you can call it that, is far from deep and thought-provoking as some say it is, its duration is borderline insulting for its asking price, and it just doesn’t motivate you to replay it after you’re done with its half a dozen levels. Sadly, Flower isn’t as meaty as it should be. A fair point in a way, given it’s a game about plants…"
