'Flower' - Level 2 Gameplay video

Flower for PS3 is a game in which the player uses the SIXAXIS controller to take control of the wind and grow flowers in the surrounding environment, developed by thatgamecompanyLLC and published by Sony. This clip is a flyby pollination of the world.

THIS GAME FLOWER??? wow weird japanese people. no wonder ps3 is still in 3rd place lol FLOP

Matix5634d ago

It actually looks intriguingly relaxing yet peculiarly entertaining. If I were a PS3 owner, I would without a doubt put this on my wish list. This new 'zen gaming' genre could be the next big thing, in my opinion.

Japanese game? you should research. I'll give you a hint this game comes from former university students in the USA.

Without these weird Japanese people you wouldn't even be here trolling about creative video games.

Matix5634d ago

Well apparently all things peaceful and relaxing are Japanese. Obviously...

SmokingMonkey5634d ago

that was hilarious!!!!

Not much to say other then that.

Wonder when it will be released.

Matix5634d ago

I hope soon. I may have a 360 but I'm curious to see where this game goes.

Kleptic5634d ago

I got flow back in some offer when it was $1.99...weird game, but not bad...and this is from the same guys...they are definitely relaxing, to the point where I would completely fade out and forgot who the hell I was; and this seems pretty different...

I don't know...Killzone 2 after dinner, then wind down with this before I try to fall asleep...can't try to sleep with that amount of rage still coursing through my body

40cal5633d ago

I think early 2009. At least that is what I read yesterday.

Lord Anubis5634d ago

after seeing the videos i'm really intrigued. I'm kind of getting the feeling i had for ico and shadown of the colossus (to some extent) with this game. It's a lot like their previous game (Flow) but with a reward after eating all the lesser creatures.

IQUITN4G5634d ago (Edited 5634d ago )

Sony are good at embracing this sort of thing and Flower suits their machine well

Inovation is not what most gamers want however and this will unlikely be embraced by them

A shame then as it looks rather nice and different

UltimateIdiot9115634d ago

I'm going to enjoy this game especially using the sixaxis to move around.

Review - Flower (PC) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Leo Faria: "Flower is a gorgeous, well-crafted and relaxing game, but I have to say, I don’t get the massive love towards it. Its “story”, if you can call it that, is far from deep and thought-provoking as some say it is, its duration is borderline insulting for its asking price, and it just doesn’t motivate you to replay it after you’re done with its half a dozen levels. Sadly, Flower isn’t as meaty as it should be. A fair point in a way, given it’s a game about plants…"
