I mean that would kinda make sense. It's a remaster of a game that already came out. They didn't have newer pokemon either. 4th gen and earlier only.

All remasters so far have introduced the newer pokemon up to the current gen. Such as Omega Ruby/ Alpha Saphire bringing XY pokemon.

interesting, has any other remastered Pokemon game done that? I knew that Omega Ruby and Sapphire kept some of the newer elements introduced in X & Y, but that makes sense since the originals were released like 12 years prior.

Cool story. Only it's a remake. It's being advertised as a remake. It's also PRICED as a full price remake.

But continue lowering the bar for Gamefreak/Nintendo. Thanks to people like you, in gen.10, we'll have Gen.5 remakes that change 5 lines of text, and you'll still be here trying to justify it costing $70.

that's the whole idea behind a remaster, it's the same game only prettier. Much like every other remaster out there. A remake takes liberties (Resident Evil 2 for example)

And if you don't like the price, don't buy it. I never played these (Ultra Moon on my 3DS was my first pokemon game). So it's a new game to me regardless.

Really disappointing. All the other remakes did that. They are playing it too safe with this remake.
