Never injured myself but I do remember crying once because the video game character wouldnt do what I wanted it too... Arrrgghhh the frustration!

I actually threw a controller at my brother once for constantly button bashing and not giving me a chance to fight back during a Tekken match. God I was such a bad loser.

Mario Kart is a big culprit. Never thrown anything in anger, but caused massive arguments between my best friend and I. I also hurt myself spinning around on a computer chair in victory and falling backwards.

Natalya in Goldeneye I never wanted to hurt someone so much.

And for pure, unbridled fury... CALL OF DUTY being verbally abused by 11 year olds is not my idea of gaming bliss.

Can't remember how many times I did things like set up remote mines, used rocket launcher, grenade launcher, etc in elaborate ways to kill Natalya. Oh the frustration of that woman!! Lol

Protecting Natalya in the control room is one of my first memories of gamer rage. I don't know how many times I attempted that level before I finally beat it >_>

I threw my N64 controller and almost broke the analogue stick. It never quite worked the same since! lol

Back the NES days when I was lad I had received the first Castelvania game. The game was ridiculously hard but I spent days and hours trying to get past levels only to fail and have to ctart over some other time. I remember the Frankenstein boss being one of the hardest bosses. But I finally made past all that, to the Grim Reaper...I remember walking down some hallway and jumped up to hit a candle right before the boss and...FROZE...the game froze. I just sat there staring at the screen...*tear*.

Another time was with Ghost n Goblins for NES. It took me years just to get past the area with the many red devils flying around. After that level the game was hard but doable. I finally get to the last boss, and the game tells me I need the cross shield weapon and start me back at the beginning of the last level. Okay no problem, grab the weapon, fight the boss and beat him...only to have the game tell me that it was all an illusion and to do it all over again...AAARGH!

These kids today seriously don't even know how hard games were back in the NES days.

I was part of a gaming club at uni where a lot of controllers would be thrown around, or at least smacking them down on the table instead of placing them down carefully (especially during tornaments).

On the other side of things fighting games always give me hand cramps after a while. I have never managed to master how people play fighting games without their hands/fingers dying after a while. xD

I remember growing up my friend got the new nfl 2k for dreamcast. There was a play on there that he couldnt stop not matter what he did. So in the second quarter I was winning 42-0 he gets up takes out the cd and breaks it in half and throws it out the front door. The game had just released that day and he was talking trash weeks in advance about how good he was. I was about 17 so he was 19. I have never
laughed so hard. I still give him a hard time about it every now and then.

I remember going over a friends house and we played dbz:BT3 on ps2. Never played this version, only BT2 and against a computer. He waxed me pretty good. It was a fantastic game so I bought a ps2 and the game so I could play. Played him one week later without telling him I bought it and beat his ass like he owed me money. He was so piss confused and sad all that the same time. He actually wanted to fight me over it Lol. He then kicked me out lmao. We played a couple times after that but it was still the same result. I still bring it up every now and then as well. Just a reminder that I will always be the better gamer lol. Which I am.

Right now I am playing Lords of the Fallen and its making me angry. The stupid phantom things you fight in the Rhogar realm just drain your life so quick. The common enemy are harder than the bosses.

God of War Ascension ....I had played and beaten all of the others , there was one part on Ascension I just couldn't get past....I got so f'n mad I about stroked out as I had always thought I was fairly good at those games....have thought about revisiting it but never have...

Playing Fifa. F-bombs drop before and after every word in the sentence, no matter how long it is.

Seriously, my most tame effort is "Are you s***-f***ing kidding me?!"

Anything within arms reach and not riveted to the floor at that point is getting chucked...somewhere...

Can't remember hurting myself at any point, though.

Ninja Gaiden for the original Xbox is the only game that made me rage to the point I quit playing it. Truely the hardest game I have ever played. I couldn't get past Rachel's sister. Fucking pillars....

Yes, Ninja Gaiden would come second on my rage induction meter. It was the game that dramatically improved my game playing skills. How i play games now is based on how I learned to trudge through Ninja Gaiden.

I originally put it down for a year myself because I couldn't get past the first boss (the nunchuck guy). After getting it back from a friend, I tried again. Got to this one corridor in the city you go to the level after and couldn't get past that for a VERY long time.

After finally getting past that, the time from that point until the end was far more even, but by the time I'd beaten the game, I'd spent 40+ hours on it. Played through it again after and did it in less than 12.

Funnily enough, I actually didn't have as much trouble with Alma as most people seemed to. Yeah, she was kinda hard, but I didn't get stuck on her like I did the first boss or that corridor.

I guess by that time I had learned how to dodge effectively enough. I remember using the camera to dodge at an angle. The times I did die were because of those pillars, though.
