Even swapping to a standardized pay-to-play pricing model without any microtransactions (as of writing) feels like a great shift away from current trends. Beyond just being a good gesture, it feels like a way to avoid distractions and better appreciate what's – arguably – among the best multiplayer experiences of the past decade. Honestly I think the game looks average first impressions wise and will probably die off within a year or so.
Jeez man we want games to grow and develop and if we're prevented from that this is how games dying amidst other complications.
This means the game sucks. Now we can move on ahead of time and look forward to something else.
