Serious Sam: The First Encounter is free on GOG Today

From GameWatcher: "Despite being nearly 20 years past its prime, Serious Sam: The First Encounter can be some serious fun. Cyberpunk meets fantasy in this classic shooter that has hi-tech devices mixed with black magic and time travelling shenanigans. Explore ancient Egypt and alien planets in an effort to save the human race.

Right now, to celebrate and promote Serious Sam 4, GOG is giving away The First Encounter free of charge. As this is GOG, the game has been optimised and tweaked to work on modern systems, so prepare to fight off wave and wave of cannon fodder as you spew bullets and one-liners at the enemy."

Great to hear! I love these games. They are just mindless fun and have some of the best graphics. Croteam is one talented developer. Cant wait to see what they come up with for us next.

What the hell Croteam why is it VR only?

Sorry but this seems like an on-rails side project, I was really hoping for a full fledged game on all platforms :(

Wait, DX9? Why would anybody still support DX9? DX12 would be able to run on any DX because of its' Feature Level detection.

Anyways, glad to hear Serious Sam is coming back. Seriously.
