Just let the developers tell their story. It's their game to make, not ours! If it's good, great! If it turns out to not be for everyone's liking then so be it. Enjoy if for what it is, and not for what you wish it would have been.
Unfortunately we won't get flying mounts due to the game being cross gen. The ps4 cpu cannot load the data quickly enough. I'm sure Forbidden West will be terrific, and I can't wait to play it as it was my most anticipated game for all of 2021 before the delay, but as a ps5 owner I would prefer if Horizon, GT7, and the next God of War were ps5 only titles.
The situation is ironic considering the heat Microsoft took for announcing it was going cross gen for a certain period this time around with Jim Ryan saying "we believe in generations", that in 2022 many Microsoft titles that I will be playing on my series x will be for series x only, while the big Sony titles will be cross gen limited. I'm really looking forward to series x stalker 2, starfield, redfall, etc.

After playing it again with the 60 fps update, I'd love if they would do a toggle run instead of having to hold in L3. That gets annoying. Makes me feel like I'm breaking my controller too.
I think the animals were a perfect part of Zero Dawn. Really fun to hunt them and they don’t disappear after running 5 feet away.
I’d like really good haptics, melee, and underwater combat. But most of all I think Forbidden West could just perfect some of the little things with Zero Dawn. Sometimes junk will trip you up in combat and force you to take a hit. Some low geometry like fences hangs you up and could be vaulted over.
