"Don't want to share your account information? That's going to end badly for you. Super badly"
Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson stated in a recent EA Earnings Call, that the next Battlefield "it is going to be another tremendous live service.”
Another? ANOTHER?
Is he honestly trying to make out like the last Battlefield was a huge success, not just as a game but as a live service game? I'm sure these guys live in their own echo chambers, they are so far removed from reality or they just like talking out of their arse trying to rewrite history.
Also why say such a tone deaf statement when you know the state of live service games at the minute and how many gamers feel about them. Bigging up the next BF game as live service does not give me any excitement or hype.
EA:
While we’ve enjoyed and are proud of creating these seasons of additional content for Battlefield 2042, it is now necessary for us to turn from the present to the future. What this ultimately means is that Season 7 will serve as the final season for Battlefield 2042. After Season 7 concludes, we will continue to support the game with new in-game challenges, events, modes, and of course, ongoing maintenance, but we are moving away from delivering official seasons.
Streamer Shroud says that DICE paid 60 to a hundred content creators to help develop Battlefield 2042, but ignored every single advice.
No wonder the game ended up the way it did
What they should've done was ask BF fans. Most general content creators typically go for the trend and the top creators stream games like LOL, fortnite, dota, gtaV, battle royale etc.
I’ll give some advice and take money for it. You can use it or not use it just make sure to pay me
Battlefield fans just want Battlefield to be Battlefield. Which means a focus on Conquest-mode (5/6 flags), some gorgeous and fun maps to play on, 4 balanced classes, and that's it.
The suits keep wanting to turn Battlefield into everything else BUT Battlefield, so first they wanted BF to be more like Call of Duty, so they copied a bunch of stuff from CoD. Then they wanted to take advantage of the Battle Royale stuff, so they went after that crowd. Then they saw the heroes stuff in Overwatch and so they brought in specialists. Etc.
Guys, we just want Battlefield. Not every games has to be everything to all people. Specialize in what makes (made) your series great, which is large(r) maps (appropriate size for the amount of players, which IMO should be 24-32 max, so not just big for bragging brights), integrating vehicle-combat, and just allowing the freedom and flow which made those matches in older Battlefield games so special at times.
They should not take it so seriously, it's good for the game, the game is looking amazing, can't wait to play -- decided to pre-order after seeing how good it looks...
If you don't expect Beta footage to leak by now, they you really have no business doing a beta.... Fans get to excited about a game to follow stupid NDA rules... And Like I said nothing to worry about here, all that beta did was get me super pumped for the game...
It looks better then I thought it was going to look, really excited now... DICE and EA are sitting on a home run with this one... this is what the fans have wanted...
The Beta I saw with the helicopter and the planes flying all around looked awesome, brought back Bad Company 2 feel.. I can't wait to play this.. This one is going to do numbers... So happy to see us getting back to the type of Battlefield we all know and love....
I can't wait to play....
"you get a strike on your channel"
funny, lots of ppl are uploading like crazy, on new empty channels with no other videos on them ha.
Take one guess why they’re making threats.
Does anybody even read the fine print when it pops up on the screen no most people scroll down until the accept part lights up and away they play. This is why Turtle Rock and WB are cool they didn't give a shit if you streamed the beta of B4B they wanted you to have fun with the beta. But this is EA they like to suck the fun out of the room you knew it was going to get streamed when you released the beta. I know some beta and demos that are streamed have an NDA where the streamer can only show certain bits and pieces of the demo or beta. EA striking shit down flagging accounts no wonder why people hate EA. I say open the flood gates and fully open the beta and promote people to have fun with BF.
It's their product, they can do whatever they want with it.
As far as I know it's a beta that you had to register for to participate in not pay out of pocket and even still most of those people won't even waste time giving their feedback for the game, however if the game releases in a semi-busted state you'll never hear the end of it.
Yes, lets ignore the NDA and then complain that there are potential consequences for your actions once you get caught up.
Stop.
All that aside game looks good, but I won't be pre-ordering at this point there is no value to be had from pre-ordering, you're just giving them your money early now and that's about it.
