flOw Gets Solid Release Date

The PlayStation 3's downloadable high-def zen title gets an official site and a release date. flOw is scheduled to hit the PlayStation Store on February 22nd, 2007.

"Soothing and seductive, flOw draws gamers into the evolution of a simple aquatic creature journeying through the surreal abyss. With an embedded design of DDA (dynamic difficulty adjustment), players with differing skill levels can intuitively adjust their game experience and enjoy playing at their own pace. Initially a MFA (Master of Fine Arts) thesis, flOw is a game about piloting an aquatic organism through a surreal biosphere where players consume other organisms, evolve, and advance their organisms into the abyss."

Journey is an experience for sure. Check it out if you haven't.

trenso13260d ago

i always wanted to play this game fully i played the demo but didnt understand what was happening.

Simco8763260d ago

Thats kind of the point. You don't know. It's like just packing some bags and driving with no direction, you find direction along the way and form relationships. It's quite the social experience.

trenso13259d ago

you play with other people in this game?

Simco8763259d ago

you can meet people along the way, but you can't speak to them. Only motions and movement.

S2Killinit3260d ago

I didnt get to play this on PS3. Picking it up for sure.

rezzah3260d ago

hmmm I already own those games. All I want is Journey alone. I've beaten it probably nearly 20 times.

Memorable Music in Gaming #6

Chalgyr's Game Room writes:

We are at it again, with five more music tracks from video games that will stick in your head the way they did Hamza's. We have a pretty good selection here, courtesy of the home computer - no console entries this time.

Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars (MS-DOS) - Finding Nicole

Romantic scores are always a pleasure to listen to: Jerry Goldsmith's love theme from Chinatown, the saxophone-filled main menu music from The Blackwell Epiphany and Finding Nicole from Broken Sword are great examples. Nicole Collard is one of the major characters from the series and the primary romantic interest of the series' protagonist, George Stobbart. After listening to this sensual score, you too will fall in love with her!
