Still no Bomberman 64.

Will there ever be good games on the VC again?

ChickeyCantor5627d ago

I've noticed that Hudson is actually re-making games for Wii-ware if im not mistaken. So who knows...but yesh -_- they already made a bomberman and doubt they will remake the n64 one...

Btw do you know the bomberman version on the gameboy where bosses were done in a sidescrolling view instead of top down?
I'm loking for that one actually -__-

@ Sidar: Do you mean Pocket Bomberman on the original GameBoy? I remember that having a side view. Try looking for it on ebay.com.

@ Smacktard: The brand new Bomberman Blast is coming to WiiWare soon. It even has an online 8-player battle mode!

Imma gonna look for that title later on...
But you guys don't have bombermanblast?!
>_> i suck at it...yesh i do own it.

I don't care about Bomberman Blast, I want my lovable, fun, amazing Bomberman 64 ;_;

i still think there will be a massive virtual console released either right before Christmas or right after.
Im thinking big.....not Super Mario Kart big,but big enough for people to download.
Maybe
Super Smash Bros(n64)?
Super Mario All Stars?
Super Mario World 2:Yoshis Island?

Helix deserves a best of spot too being such a fun, unique and exhausting rhythm based game. Additionally... where is lost winds??? How lazy is only three games for each category?? At least go for 5. There were alot of stinkers over the last year too. Easily could to a top 10 worst games list. with pop-up pirate and the infamous crap racing game which name i can't remember all i know was you were just a wheel and it bit donkey balls.

Game Revolution: Bruiser & Scratch Review

GR writes: "WiiWare. It kind of sounds like it could be a dental dam for special occasions. Something that needs to be sterilized immediately after use. I had been hesitant to check WiiWare titles out, partially because of my aversion to the name, but mostly because of my old thinking. I used to believe that for a game to even have a chance of being good, I'd have to travel to a store and give them lots of money first.

Then I was invited to try Bruiser and Scratch. If it is any indication of the quality of other games in the WiiWare family, I'll be checking the list from time to time. I was pleasantly surprised with this one, and I never left my couch."

+ Solid, challenging puzzles
+ High value for the price
- Ir-resolute graphics
- Disturbingly familiar soundtrack

Game Vortex: Bruiser & Scratch Review

Game Vortex writes: "There's a very good chance that due to some less-than-stellar production values, you may miss one of the better puzzle games to hit the Wii. Now, Puzzle is a broad category, we realize. Games like Professor Layton and the Mysterious Village are little more than a collection of puzzles, but by virtue of their storytelling become something greater. On the other side, games in the Fire Emblem series are known for their storytelling, but are at heart just fancy set pieces (aka "puzzles"). The line between strategy and good puzzle-solving is sometimes very gray, but there's no such line between good and bad production".
