Tecmo Koei Europe has today launched the official website for the forthcoming third-person Action game, Quantum Theory. Currently in development for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Quantum Theory is expected to arrive at European retail this Summer.
E3 is where it's make or break for this game I think. Early alpha stage vids haven't really been impressive but have shown glimmers of potential.
I'm sure well get a much better picture of this game at E3. Hope for gaming sake they can deliver.
I know TKE are planning on pushing it big at E3... they're going to start ramping it up for a late summer launch from then.

Not only has Tecmo Koei revealed the box art design, which appears to be noticeably darker on the PlayStation 3 version than that of the Xbox 360, but also an official release date for the game. Set to arrive across Europe on March 26th 2010, Quantum Theory casts the player as Syd, a warrior fighting against a mysterious black material known as Erosion for the fate of all mankind. At the heart of this decay is the Living Tower, and Syd must journey to the very top in order to stop Erosion, and save humanity from certain extinction.
you might've had a chance with this game if it was still exclusive to ps3. But who the hell wants to play a multiplat crappier version of gears of war. What a bunch of sell outs..NO THANKS!

It was breifly shortened to Quantum, but only for a short while before TKE changed it back to Quantum Theory.
looks nice.. but why 5-6 scars on the face. i really don't get it sometimes.
but i just hope it's not in enclosed space throughout the game because it would be really boring. i wanna see open space. enjoy the view as i kill enemies. or maybe i'm so used to playing games with lots of open space lately (UC2/Demon's Souls).
I don't get why it's *only 5-6 scars either. Every publisher knows 15 scars == more badass == better sales.

This game doesn't have a prayer unless it is delayed till summer. This game would probably sell well in June or July when there is literally nothing coming out.

Because it's not a PS3 exclusive! They announced last year that it was coming to Xbox 360 as well...

anyway i thought this game was going come out in few months. i'm only interested in it because it looks/plays like GeOW and that's the only game i want to play on 360 (which i don't own).
It's basically gears with lower poly models and relies heavily on the quality of it's textures to make it look good. Some of the level design seems pretty interesting though. It's one I'll pick up in a dry period for games as long as it's really cheap.
