You're getting downvotes, but it's not like they're not charging people for a class that was already designed prior to release.
We used to raise hell over knowing they locked gamers off of already finished content, but I guess we're getting complacent.

Exactly, as I said in the article where that news broke, this moved the game from day one to bargain bin for me.

I like the look of it and want to play it but I won't support such a practice. I'm (seemingly) in the minority that doesn't mind paying £70 for a game - value is subjective and given inflation it's less than it was when I was a kid - but regardless of what I pay for a game, I'm not prepared to then buy content that should have already been on the disc.

High quality content beyond the scope of the original release or a genuine addition to an already complete narrative? We'll talk, but I won't be part of making this type of practice the new normal.
