As teased over the past few days, Ultizero Games revealed a new gameplay video of its upcoming game Lost Soul Aside.
Lost Soul Aside. Originally a one-man project that was picked up by Sony, the game's been in development for roughly seven years. In that time, the title has clearly undergone some dramatic changes — especially in terms of scope — and it's looked more and more promising with every showing. The game's most recent appearance arrived last summer, when a new trailer seemingly confirmed that the initial PS4 version was cancelled, in favour of PS5 and PC.
Hard to blame you. The original announcement is almost 10 years old. The article calls it a 'long-awaited PS5 game' but when it first appeared the PS4 was barely a couple of years old.
It kind of has that Nioh thing going for it
Nioh originally was going to be an early ps3 game.

That's probably a good thing.
It flies under the radar with no hype. I find that to be very positive for the game's odds of delivering.
Integrating hundreds of stock assets is not an easy task.
It might look good, sure, but good luck with making it work and become an actual decent game.
With ChinaJoy in Shanghai in full swing, UltiZero Games released a brand new trailer of its highly-anticipated action RPG Lost Soul Aside.
To be fair it was just 1 guy making the game originally. I think it's a team now albeit a small one.

Sony Interactive Entertainment will publish Ultizero Games-developed action RPG and PlayStation China Hero Project title Lost Soul Aside worldwide, the companies announced. It will be available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
This game has been on my radar since it was announced 1 million years ago (or so it seems)! Wasn't it being developed originally by just one person?
Yes it was, then Sony noticed the game and started funding the development. There's a whole studio working on it now.
That looked effing amazing!!, and even more awesome the release date could be near, cause this game was on the making by just one person and it was shown at least 4 years ago, so displaying it again a with a total new footage it definitely means that games will be release!.
It looks like DMC will now have some fierce competition. LSA looks like 10s across the board!
Sound effects need work. Cutting someone and it sounding like high speed punches does not compute. The sliding lacks any impact and emotion. Obviously it’s early, but damn they’ve come a long way. I’m glad they got the support of Sony (or any big supporter) because this one was too good to let fall by the wayside. The amount of moves and specials puts even devil may cry to shame. It’s like Noctis, Dante, Vergil, and bayonetta used Potara earrings. I’m sure there’s at least 6 months to a year left in the oven. Can’t wait.
Now I just need Wukong to get some solid info....
Is it just me or do anybody want this guy to make that dragonball, bleach, no scratch that one punch man game that fans have desired got ages... its like he was brought up on platinum games milk 😂... imagine what they wil be able to do with unreal 5 engine
