I am done with this game, spent over 100 hours playing with friends on my trickster and literally lost everything. I cannot even load the character. I dealt with all the problems from day 1, but with this? Am done. My friends want me to keep play, but one thing is for sure, I have no intention of ever supporting this company again.

That's an odd question for someone who is a proponent of Game Pass and wants PS to emulate it. Aren't any of these subscription services only worth as much as the subscriber's ability to consume the content? Otherwise, you're more paying for the idea of access than actual consumption.

Just seemed like a lot of hours for one game in such a short time period. I usually play multiple games at a time but I can see where you’re coming from.

I used to do that number when I was a teenage gamer now a 4 hour session is a big ask for me.
If it's racing game then I can do twice that number.
But why this game got 8/10 from bigger sites when it have game breaking bug like this?

There's been a demo out for a while with progress that carries over as well. It's easy to have over 100 hrs on this title with farming the demo over the last 1-2 months

This game clearly needed six to nine more months of polishing and when I said that this game would be better 9 months from now I was hated on. For some reason many gamers on this site really want to to defend this game at all costs

Whether it's GAAS oe looter shooter it's simply not ready launch. Those who bought/played day from till now are basically testing out the game and reporting bugs so those who join later get a better experience

It has improved a lot since launch, i now no longer have the "kick to dashboard" bug, and i have not been kicked out of a multiplayer game for days.

However friends on the Xbox One X experienced more kicks, but since the update no kicks recorded by friends now.

So hopefully all should be fixed in a week or 2.

They need to delete all of the cutscenes and eliminate the walking around areas and replace them with a menu. seriously, i dont care. the story/acting is the worst thing i think ive seen in a game.

Yeah I stopped playing until they properly fix this issue. Have about 40 hours of play time & I’d get real angry if I lose all my items knowing I might not get them all back. The demo was 1 thing, but the actual game, yeah this should never have happened. I feel for you.

You have not "lost" any of the gear, it is simply not syncing correctly to the servers. The gear i have is not stored locally, it is all stored server side.

It will be patched and then your gear will be back.

Bookmark it, being someone who works with servers, i know all servers are routinely backed up in the event of hacks/failures.

I can guarantee the gear is not "lost".

its kind of weird that after a mission, it doesnt have a summary breakdown of damage dealt, kills, headshots, etc.

you know, over a week after lunch, i’d like a fix for all the lag and constant crashes. it’s fine for the first few days but this game just seems broken at this point for me. literally haven’t been in a single co-op game without lag yet, i end up crashing if i stay in a game for any extended period of time.

Surprisingly, i don't see anyone boycotting this game, demanding refunds or delisting it, that's weird.

the lag can be hilarious though. shoot at an enemy and all of a sudden they teleport 30 feet away, die, and get launched into space. it fits well with the voice "acting".

Same here on Series X, was a few disconnect bugs/kick to dashboard, but i have not experienced the losing gear/unable to login bugs others are getting.

Would be interesting to know which platforms are getting the bugs.

I really didn't get the fascination with this game. Played it via gamepass and got so bored that I didn't keep playing, so I was not affected by this inventory bug. I would be pissed if I was though.

Erm, no i will continue playing and wait for it to be fixed, if i get affected by it, then so be it, if i permanently lose gear, so be it, the game is built for multiple new character playthroughs so its not really a big issue.

Would be a different story if you actually bought the gear with MT's.

I’ve only played the demo and thought it was alright, didn’t play it from gamepass yet but those who are complaining of issues should know that this is 2020 and issues in video games is nothing new. You could’ve ether waited for more patches or stop bitching and just enjoy the game and be patient with the updates. I bet some cry baby is gonna want to comment on my comment simply because they were having a meltdown.

this game is really fun. frustrating, stupid, but fun. the dialog is terrible and every character acts like a WWE wrestler. When a story has no relatable characters, the story isnt worth telling. dumb/frustrating things include everything having to do with the multiplayer aspect. the connections, the progress, the random instances of getting stuck because the game is confused, etc. its a mess. as a day 1 cyberpunk player, this game is shockingly bad compared to cyberpunk. im left wondering where the outrage is.. I even started a new game of CP2077 last night out of frustration lol.. a buddy and i did a 40 minute boss fight and got 0 loot. none. nada. zilch. what a waste that was.. another frustration: camera angle. way too close for a game that requires you to be aware of whats happening at your feet and behind you. I cant figure out the logic on that decision. Another point of frustration is how you're supposed to be some sort of powerful badass, but you cant push enemies out of the way when the dumb AI literally just runs into you and keeps sprinting. you become stuck and just have to wait for the sweet release of death.
