Corona is mostley to blame....

TeamIcoFan1132d ago (Edited 1132d ago )

Hey now, let's not be too hard on those in charge of shipping.
It's a tough job, can't fault them for wanting to grab a drink or two here and there. ;)

Yes. I expect PS5 sales to increase even more as the console gets available for everyone. Right now is very if not almost impossible to get one.

Hundred thousand behind with a global pandemic and massive chip shortages, I think they doing really well. PS4 was never unavailable like this at all.

I mean, ps5 could probably beat PS4 if they didnt have supply issues.

UltraNova1132d ago (Edited 1132d ago )

Yeah sure but it's more like demand surpassing supply + scalpers.

Master of Unlocking1132d ago (Edited 1132d ago )

I doubt it. Specs aside, the PS5 is an inferior product to the PS4 in just about every way. I'm staying with my Pro and, if it weren't for The Returnal, I wouldn't even care throwing a look at the PS5, for the time being at least.

andy851131d ago

I honestly don't understand this comment. The PS4 was already outdated on release and offered nothing new. The PS5 pushes new boundaries in both hardware and peripherals.

UltraNova1131d ago (Edited 1131d ago )

@andy

Agreed. Some people find the increase in GPU power to be small (not the 8-10x we were used to from gen to gen) but it was expected based on recent chip advancement and the death of Moore's law.

That said the benefits of jumping from the jaguar cores to ZEN 2 and memory/IO speeds we have this gen should be considered a proper generational leap.

waverider1132d ago

Sony is having problems in building and shipping a little bit more then 200k a week. Thats what we have been watching in the latest weeks. The pandemic is also creating problems with getting chips.

frostypants1132d ago

It's 100% the semiconductor manufacturing shortage.

kneon1132d ago

There are also shipping issues, and not just because of the Suez canal problem. Shipping has become more expensive and takes longer due to fewer ships and planes available for cargo

jznrpg1132d ago (Edited 1132d ago )

Worldwide chip shortages make this impossible to compare plus pandemic issues as well

Review - Tales of Kenzera: Zau (PS5) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Jordan Hawes: "Tales of Kenzera: Zau is a great concept that was clearly pushed forward by a good writer and storyteller. There is a deep narrative here that I enjoyed and it really carries the whole package here. While it starts out as a fairly simple, run-of-the-mill metroidvania gameplay wise, it is unfortunately brought way down by its lack of polish and design. Too often I felt like I was fighting the game itself instead of actually enjoying a good challenge. While the story shines bright, its enjoyment is diminished by its frustrating gameplay design."

Ghost of Tsushima on PC Won't Be Released in Specific Countries Due to PSN, and Here's the List

It seems Ghost of Tsushima on PC will have the same PSN purchasing restrictions that caused massive backlash to Helldivers 2.

H94h ago

People on N4G: just fly to another country, what's the big deal

JL29302h ago

No one cares about 3rd world problems.

purple1013h ago

not available in JAPAN., wtf sony need to sort their sh** out. this is beyond a joke when a samurai game cannot be sold in Japan, something is wrong.

Hugodastrevas3h ago

Yeah, it's all wrong since they may bed to California

Hugodastrevas3h ago

Bunch of geniuses running Sony these days... Smh

ocelot073h ago

Got the feeling Sony are half arsing the PC thing. It's that or the whole PC thing is completely lost on them.

Inverno2h ago

Why tho? The SP works without the need to log into PSN, this was literally announce. So why is it an issue? Simply A. removing the login restriction fixes this, or B. People simply won't play the MP which I don't think people will care much. A better option is A, or even better just lower the game price in those countries to compensate for the lack of MP access.
