Fair enough, streaming services have saved SOME series. Luicifer and Mindy Project come to mind. But for the most part they normally only get saved for like another season or two.
But things seem to get canceled on streaming services too. Series that I liked on Netflix and Hulu have constantly been canceled. Altered Carbon, Marco Polo, Shadow, and Shut Eye are some that come to mind. And the real killer is even showis being popular don't save them from steaming services cutting them because Marco Polo and Altered Carbon were among Netflix's top shows and still got cut.
