That's because the game is trash.

I mean it was completely unplayable on my Xbox one X.

I ended up getting it on PC for like 30 bucks played it for about 6 hours and lost interest.

Meanwhile I'm getting close to 60 hours in on assassin's Creed Valhalla.

This game was a complete let down

ManMarmalade1135d ago (Edited 1135d ago )

Not for me. To each their own. I thoroughly enjoyed my plahthrough. It's great to have opinions 🌈

LOGICWINS1135d ago

What platform are you playing on?

darksky1135d ago

I couldn't be bothered playing after half an hour. The non-existent AI is the biggest issue and it feels like a huge step back when compared to the GTA series. It just does not feel like a living world when all the NPC's have less AI than a zombie.

KyRo1135d ago (Edited 1135d ago )

It not being available from PS store shortly after launch no doubt made a massive dent in that figure which was the right call by Sony.

I believe CDPR can turn this around though.

esherwood1135d ago

Game was awesome. I swear there’s just a lot of miserable people out there that like to be as negative as possible. I played on og xbox on release and I had zero game breaking bugs along with the 3 other people I know playing it on real life. Doesn’t make sense to me

RickRoland1135d ago

Nope it’s bad. An open world city that doesn’t even have street parking is absolutely unacceptable. This game is buggy and has immersion breaking design choices. You’re so restricted with what you can even do in the city in your spare time. The level of choice is much more linear than they sold gamers on.

seanpitt231135d ago (Edited 1135d ago )

Just watch this video https://www.youtube.com/wat...

This guy is a great YouTuber and sums cyberpunk up it classed as an open world and in the gameplay previews stated as the most immersive gaming next gen experience ever created

The world is great to look at but just about everything else was badly executed the mechanics the core gameplay the driving the physics the AI etc... and there is literally nothing to do in this game other than story

Sgt_Slaughter1135d ago (Edited 1135d ago )

No your judgement is clouded by the fact that you enjoyed it because it's not a matter of opinion, it's a fact that the game is/was broken beyond belief on every platform and the AI in the game is all but nonexistent. This is why the game ended up being overhyped and under delivered.

I was really looking forward to Cyberpunk....I didn't pre-order it because I wanted to see if it ran better on ps5 or series x with the "enhanced for next gen versions"....I'm still waiting. Maybe by Christmas 2021 they will get their s%$t together enough to offer that version, but they have devastated themselves with the bad publicity surrounding this title. They completely trashed their good name and reputation, and it was completely avoidable. Sad.

414gamer1135d ago

I 100% it on my series x. Almost no issues with the game.

Played Valhalla for less than an hour and lost interest

seanpitt231135d ago

I agree with Valhalla that was boring as sh$t

Father__Merrin1135d ago

Valhalla is a much more polished game

Yui_Suzumiya1135d ago

It's the only good game CDRP has made though

MadLad1135d ago (Edited 1135d ago )

That's for a few reasons. The game, first of all, far from lived up to what was promised. Many mechanics were simply never implemented, or were half a**ed.
Then there's performance. Barely runs on last gen consoles and, runs okay on PS5 and Xbox series X, and requires fairly high end PCs for something resembling the teasers in terms of visuals and performance.
Whenever a game comes out, I usually try running it on both my main rig (i7 and 3070) and my office rig (i5 and sli 970), and this is the first time it was virtually unplayable on the office rig, even with most settings dialed way back at 1080p.
The whole game needs to be reworked, and I really don't see that happening.

CertifiedGamer1135d ago (Edited 1135d ago )

No the game is perfect in every way, you are using republican talking points against Cyberpunk 2077

CertifiedGamer1135d ago

Your wrong CertifiedGamer, the game runs best on the PS triple

Wrex3691134d ago

Hey I hope everything is okay if you need to talk please don't.

CertifiedGamer1134d ago

Wrex369 you don't seem to get that its a joke on my part, its called sarcasm

Tedakin1135d ago

Yeah it's pretty amazing that you can literally go back to videos they put out 1-2 months before launch and they're going on and on about features not in the game at all like the being able to pay off the cops and mercenaries being sent after you.

1135d ago
Tedakin1135d ago

4 downvotes? I'll never get this site. What did I say that's wrong or controversial?

annoyedgamer1134d ago

Nothing lasts forever I guess. CDPR seemed to care more about placating the journalists bottom feeders than actually making something worthwhile as evidenced by their closed door demos.

MadLad1134d ago (Edited 1134d ago )

It's sad, but this Cyberpunk crap really did flush years of customer/fan goodwill for the company down the toilet.
It's an uphill battle for them going forward. I doubt they will ever pull this again, but it sucks knowing they CAN lie to people. It sucks knowing they CAN put a giant amount of pressure on their development team and lie about it. It sucks that they CAN knowingly release a broken product to the masses just to capitalize on sales and profits.

Huge learning experience for them. Hope they improve from it.

Played Cyberpunk 2077 on PC and liked it. It's a good game.

Gatsu1135d ago (Edited 1135d ago )

Yeah I agree, it's so good <3.

Sciurus_vulgaris1135d ago

I enjoyed my play thorough of the game on Series X. But I did encounter bugs. None of the bugs and glitches I encountered where game breaking. However, I hate many immersion breaking bugs and one glitch that forced me to restart a quest.

Flawlessmic1135d ago

Once the next gen version releases it will pick up massively untill then game sales will be dead.

Glad i alwqys planned on waiting for the next gen version and didnt puy the ps4 one

P_Bomb1135d ago (Edited 1135d ago )

PS4 copy comes with a free PS5 upgrade for whenever that launches. Sticker on the cover. No worries about missing out.

I’m on PS4 Pro, 30hrs in. Nomad path. No crashes, freezes or game breaking bugs. Disc copy. Definitely flawed but definitely playable. Just wish I had a PS5 for 60fps via BC.

Flawlessmic1135d ago

Yea im aware of the free upgrade but why pay full price for a what seemed to be much inferior and broken game when i can just be a bit patient and play a much btter version of the game.

Iv been waiting for this game for years, whats a couple more months as apposed to playing it now and probably hating it for its bugs and poor graphics

P_Bomb1135d ago (Edited 1135d ago )

That’s fine. I bought it half off. It’ll probably be full price again come PS5. Which I don’t have. The DNA of the game ain’t gonna change.

Well they are using unreal engine now thanks to there work culture and horrific job on making cyberpunk so for the future no impact.

But it will be interesting to see what mods will be made

just_looken7d ago

7 disagrees shows how many look at one dlc that had a rip off fight from ghost in the shell and goes wow what a goat team i love cdpr while ignoring that they only made 2 games that were good witcher 2/3 in 20yrs.

But its a new world we want a criminal that support's legal murder as president/support shoplifting love toxic work environments and have a mass casualty event every other day.

GhostMirror7d ago

I’ll admit I didn’t play it at launch, but Cyberpunk 2077 is a really good game now.

And who the hell knows what you’re even going on about in your second paragraph here.

EazyC7d ago

Wait a min...I swear to god CP2077's source code got leaked before. CDPR needs to stop using "password123" for all their accounts 😅

just_looken7d ago

Na its hundreds ex employees no doubt just getting there revenge.

Profchaos6d ago (Edited 6d ago )

This is the same leak the threat actors have been trying to sell the source code after cd project didn't pay the ransom.

They didn't manage to sell the source code to any company largely because it would be unethical for say EA to buy it so the threat actors failed to find a buyer.

After they failed to make any money they went through with their threat of simply giving it away.

They will need to add everything they promised in the first one and not over promise on the second one.

just_looken7d ago

They also need to drop esg then hire employees that have knowledge not hire them because they have a set of tits.

Official video they hired people to fill the esg clipboard

Hofstaderman7d ago (Edited 7d ago )

As somebody who has been playing the tabletop games since the 90s and was let down on launch by my PS4 version, you can bet I'm not going the preorder any sequel.

nmbr1esq7d ago

3rd person option, and everything else that was originally promised. Next don't force agenda driven naratives. Finally, release a finished product without need for day one patches.
