A playable build of Dinosaur Planet – the game that eventually became Rare's only GameCube title – is out in the wild.
BLG writes: "The original titles are classics with near-infinite replayability. Later releases, however, have stumbled. Usually, they’re hampered by attempted innovation with new control schemes or gimmicks. Still, there’s a lot to enjoy with the beloved Nintendo franchise. To celebrate, we’re going to rank the best Star Fox games in the franchise. To come up with the order, we’re mixing in a little bit of Metacritic ranking and author opinion."
Ever just look at a game and go, "who wanted this?" We take a look at 11 ill-conceived Nintendo games that rose that question.
Ever wonder why games suddenly have unexpectedly hot characters? Like unexpectedly hot animal people? Well, everyone has different tastes! These are ten times when the animal people were supposed to be really sexy!
Nothing unexpected about being hot! These are character designs and characters are not designed unexpectedly~
Too bad the site wants me to click multiple pages just to see them get upset about furry art. Not worth it.
Star Fox Adventures was such a good game. Still play through it every once in a while to this day.
Star Fox Adventures was indeed great for its time. I find it amusing that now so many suddenly reverie to it as one of the greats or one of their favorites when so many critics and sites bashed it into mediocrity + the limited sales/exposure it had. Glad to see that SF adventures/Dinosaur Planet get recognition and closure on this long overdue “release”.
