CG writes: Developer Kubold is listening to fans as they update their realistic weapons based fighting game Hellish Quart. The game is available now as an early access title via Steam. This latest update adds new character animations, a new stage set in an open field and some tweaks to the AI. In a previous update they included an additional practice mode with wooden weapons.

Hellish Quart Gameplay Survival Mode - A Western Bushido Blade in the making?

CG writes: Hellish Quart is a 17th Century inspired weapons-based one-on-one fighting game for PC. It’s currently in early access via Steam and GoG and offers a playable demo. The game feels reminiscent of the PSone classic Bushido Blade in terms of its gameplay rather than visual design. It’s certainly well worth checking out if you’re a fan of more realistic fighting. very interesting concept pretty nice idea. i don't see this succeeding in the current market. just not enough content people probably get bored of this within a week. will get mixed reviews. at best it gets a small following. wish them luck though.

The developers are looking at this game in early access for 1-2 years. That is plenty of time to add content and get it up to speed.
