To be honest PS Asia got the short end of the sticks in terms of PS Plus and PS store games selection for quite awhile now.
So they have to compensate that in some way for once.
People on twitter complained about not getting Control for PS4 since most in Asia region still don't have PS5 and supply will make sure they won't be playing that PS5 version for months.
And they messed up pre order event in Thailand stock sold out in seconds after the pre order started with people complained about laggy pre order site and long process time.

Japan got shafted.

I am in Japan and don't have a ps5, but figured I'd give Control a go on my PS4.

But no! Japan doesn't get Control on PS4, even though the original game was localized and released here months ago.

Instead we get something I'll never even bother downloading.

Great.

I've already platted Concrete Genie, so pointless month for me.

Must be nice to be able to buy PS5, because in Japan you can only get them from scalpers.
