The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection checks how CD Projekt is working on patches to the game and whether the company helps with complaints submitted by dissatisfied customers. The authority does not rule out taking further steps.
Cyberpunk 2077 has come a long way from being one of the worst games on the planet to being one of the best ones.
I shelved it after a few hours in game at launch, glad I didn't refund it. One of the few games I've actually completed in the last year, and after finishing the campaigns I wanted to just jump back in from the start. They pulled a No Mans Sky and finished one of the best FPS in the last few years.
BLG writes, "Some of the most popular games have had a rough start, with some of them being downright unplayable.
Despite that, developers have managed to turn it around for them and make their game worth playing. Here are some games that had a rough start but were pretty great."
Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.
Days gone! By the end of the game I couldn't drop it down! I went around so many hours killing zombies! It was addictive by the end.
Source code for CD Projekt's action role-playing games The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 have allegedly been compromised.
Well they are using unreal engine now thanks to there work culture and horrific job on making cyberpunk so for the future no impact.
But it will be interesting to see what mods will be made

Wait a min...I swear to god CP2077's source code got leaked before. CDPR needs to stop using "password123" for all their accounts 😅
I think CDPR have already mitigatd lot of this by offering full refunds as well as releasing a number of patches that have fixes some issues in the game. No doubt more patches will follow in the coming weeks and months. The fact that the game is not on the playstation store will also impact them financilly, that's also a massive motivator to get the game fixed as soon as they can.
Well I called EB games to see what the trade in price for this shit storm would cost and they are offering $24 trade in. So either keep it and wait for the patches or dump it on Ebay. I know there will be patches and it will take time due to COVID shit and coming back from the holidays. But they should have pushed the game back for sure it was not ready and I am glad for this extra pressure they are getting along with the lawsuit. And I am glad they are a company that had the balls to admit look hey we f*cked up here here is a refund for our f*ck up you don't see many companies owning up and admitting they f*cked up. If I know now and applied to myself when this game came out I would have waited on this shit storm of a game.
They've brought this upon themselves. still can't believe they sacrificed all those good reputations and gamers' faith in them for this atrocity.
My refund for the game on PS5 came through two days ago. Though the frame rate was fine, I won't be rebuying until this is a game that is not only mechanically repaired, but is leveraging the hardware to its fullest.
I'll play it when it gets the full fat PS5 treatment.
Man that have made so much money I doubt they care. They had like 8 million pre orders. CDPR aren't on Same level as other high end studios simples as that. They launched witcher 3 with a lot of bugs and glitches too. It seems they are the bathesda of gaming only they will fix the games where as bathesda knows community will fix it
