Disgaea main characters evil? Uh...Dood, the power of love and teaching compassion is pretty much the staple of this series. These aren't evil Diablo demons. This is a series that constantly pushes coexist with creatures from all realms living the life they were born into to the best of their ability. Any "evil" from the cast is purely slapstick and nothing more.

Except for Midboss, that guy is evil. Laharl was just a 1313 year old kid with Mommy issues.

I refuse to believe that Yakuza is an RPG series

“For example, protagonist Sora is something like eight different characters now, several of which are evil“

Besides Vanitas, who’s evil that resides in Sora. There’s over exaggerating and then there’s talking out of your ass.

“The Tales games haven’t really evolved all that much over the years, so each new Tales feels like more of the same.”

Tales of Graces is nothing like Tales of Xillia is nothing like Tales of Zestiria.

The series has evoled and changed in many ways over the years. The latest Tales of Berseria is drastically different from its predecessor for example.
