With enough dev support, TemTem is likely to be a decent Pokemon competitor. Especially given it's not exclusive to Nintendo. If Pokemon is still clowning around with its next installment I would expect TemTem to really ramp up its popularity.

Nexomon Extinction was a banger. Loved that experience. To be honest the writing in that game is hilarious and carries so much weight that it trumps TemTem in my opinion. Way more variety in terms of creature rarity and variety from the start. Both story and lack of TemTem are what gives Nexomon the edge
