Some Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players on Xbox Series X are reporting that the game is bricking their consoles and it's worrying plenty others.
The Monthly Games lineup of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered and Endling – Extinction is Forever will be available to PlayStation Plus members on Tuesday, July 4 until Monday July 31.
Another great month imo. The COD campaign on this one was great fun. I've never played Alan Wake, so a PS5 version of that is a perfect way to prepare for the next one...
It looks as though PlayStation Plus owners are in for a treat next month, as next month's PS Plus games look set to include 2020's Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
Activision has finally acknowledged the Black Ops Cold War exploits and has sent a Cease & Desist letter to a hacking software company.
Bricking them? Is it really though?
People seem to through this term around these days when the system crashes and you need to hard reboot, so I hear it and shrug it off these days.
Anyone aware of if this is actually true or is it just more nonsense for clicks?
S/W doesn't brick H/W. With maybe the only exception being firmware which can, but these days there's usually a way to revert the H/W back to factory settings and recover.Usually! But a game 'bricking' a system? Don't think so. I think the term is misused on many occasions
You guys have to take that "best played on playstation" tagline seriously... :)
How can you brick a brick?
