Does anyone even care about this game??.... Oh wait.. 120fps and 4k they say!? Hmmm... You've caught my interest a little...

1nsomniac1287d ago

I can’t wait for it. This is the game I’ve logged the most hours into across the whole of the PS4 generation.

b163o11287d ago

I got it but don't play it, maybe I should start to log some hours on it before I can get my hands on a 5...

Majin-vegeta1287d ago

It's still one of the most played FPS...

If you don’t care about siege why did you click on this story. Other than to try to get first comment

Army_of_Darkness1287d ago (Edited 1287d ago )

I clicked on this story to see what improvements they're implementing for next gen consoles, which in turn could capture my interest.
And in this case, 4k@120fps plus dual sense support sounds really nice!

I, like millions of others, play Rainbow faithfully. Still going strong since 2015!

Samonuske1287d ago

Day 1 player with gaps in between! Always come back to it. It’s my go to MP game. This is coming from someone who almost exclusively plays single player games.

Ozzy24071287d ago

Its one of the most played FPS games

just in case anyone was wondering what their "targets" are.

Performance Mode: Target 120 fps with 4k Dynamic Resolution Scaling
Resolution Mode: Target 60 fps with 4k Resolution

I'm more interested in the things the Dualsense can provide with the triggers and other haptic feedback.

philm871287d ago

Nice, first I've seen about the 60fps resolution mode, only ever seen about 120fps before which I can't benefit from.

Even Watchdogs uses the adaptive triggers, so I imagine they'll at least start with that and maybe add better haptic feedback later.

Activity cards are such a great feature!

“Activity Card support for Ranked, Unranked, Newcomer, Quick Match, & Events so players can dive into the game faster”

StoneyYoshi1287d ago

This is why I think quick resume isn't as necessary as some people say. But if you jump between 5 games every hour or two I can see why it's necessary I guess.

Sunny_D1287d ago

Alright I’m going to buy this game now. The activity card and dual sense sold me.

Paid subs are coming, and every company is investing heavily in them. From Microtransactions to this type of stuff, the community has been vocal about the issues surrounding ripping customers off, but we are being let down by influencers and journalists in trying to fight off these abhorrent business practices. Influencers and journalists don't say enough about how bad this stuff is. Meanwhile th soft buyers in the general public are getting more outraged by the day and whales are being exploited to pay too much of their own money for pointless crap.

A paid sub is partly why I think Xbox can throw Black Ops 6 on to Gamepass day-and-date and still think of it as "good business."

ElaBosak4d ago (Edited 4d ago )

What's bad in this exactly? Explain in detail.

senorfartcushion2d ago

Paid subs and microtransactions are bad.

Shikoku4d ago

So PC gaming kills subscriptions model, now they want to bring it back along with season passes, MT, dlc and whatever else they can think of. 🙄

ElaBosak4d ago

What do you mean PC gaming kills subscriptions? PC gaming is what started gaming subscriptions in the first place.

ElaBosak4d ago (Edited 4d ago )

Actually a good model. More games should do this.
