DiRT Rally 2.0 Celebrates Passing 9 Million Players

Game company Codemasters recently announced that they are celebrating passing 9 million players in popular racing video game DiRT Rally 2.0.

Downloaded it from Plus, played it for a couple of hours, deleted it.

Main reason was I just couldn't get the co-driver calls at a timing that I liked, and as much as I like Phil Mills, his delivery on this was flat and annoying.

What is it he says? 'Maybe we should check the tyres.', in a zombie like manner.

No regrets deleting it; I was glad to get the disk space back.

Hmm I had no problem with co pilot timing on default. Maybe you're not familiar with rally racing and how calls are actually made several turns ahead.

I understand the zombie like manner as in it doesn't sound/feel like the co pilot is being jostled around in the car but still very servicable

I've been to a few WRC and regional rally events in my time.

Regardless. I couldn't set the game up in a way I liked and just got sick of the trial and error required to get beyond that. It was just stress, and not enjoyable at all.

I've played other rally games and never had a big issue with getting co driver calls how I like. I like them fairly late but not too late.

Anyway, I'm not trolling this game, just very glad I didn't buy it. I may get WRC9 if I can ever get a PS5.
