You mean to tell me I can FINALLY figure out the name of that scrolling, isometric NES game where you start off as a spaceship/robot and collect extra pieces to build yourself into a bigger one???

Holy shit I don’t believe this I finally figured it out. It’s called MagMax. I’ve been trying to remember the name of this game for over 20 years. I’m shocked af right now

UnSelf1334d ago

Jesus Christ that game sucked balls. Wish I can go back in time and never watch that YouTube footage I just saw

How can something be so climactic yet anti-climactic at the same time XD

monkey6021334d ago

Haha this is the best thing I'll read this weekend

BrainSyphoned1334d ago

Now what is the name of the first anime I saw on Showtime when I was a wee little one? Spent a few thousand trying to find that thing......

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth (PS5) Review - CGMagazine

As ports go, Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth’s is textbook. A few new quality of life improvements are the defining new feature, but by and large this is the same game that was released well over a decade ago. Fortunately, this is Valkyrie Profile; that means you’re getting a classic JRPG that still feels great to play all these years later.

Way too obtuse for my taste.

jznrpg488d ago

Obtuse ? It is older and I guess if you don’t have knowledge of older games it could seem obscure but yeah it’s a good game nonetheless.

Pedrof487d ago

No it has nothing to do with how old the game is. All the requirements for the good ending seem very hard to find without a guide. And the battle system itself made little sense to me back when I played the PSP version (not that I couldn't win the fights, more than I had a very strong feeling of not knowing exactly how everything worked, thus a lasting impression of playing it kind of wrong).

It wasn’t called a remake so I don’t see why he’s upset about the graphics . I’m happy I can play it on a modern console and not for it to be stuck on PSP .

SegaSaturn669495d ago

It's disappointing to see a straight psp port, but the game itself is phenomenal.

lucian229495d ago

Why is he complaining about the graphics? It's a straight port. Not a remake. Sure would be nice to see it have an Odin sphere/dragon's crown graphic update but the game itself is amazing and a classic. One of my favorite jrpgs ever alongside xeno gears, legend of legaia and ff7

gold_drake494d ago

the graphics are pretty good for how old the game actually is.

its never been stated that this is a remake. lol.

to complain about something that was never yhere is just odd

merry Christmas:)
