New UFC 09 Undisputed Screens show off amazing visuals

THQ has released new screenshots for their upcoming title "UFC 2009 Undisputed", and from the looks of it, the game pulls some serious punches when it comes to raw graphical prowess.

Lesnar is in it, it was on one of Danas video blogs. They have made Brock way too big though, he was miles bigger than Nogueira.
I can't wait for this game. I hope Wanderlai Silva looks good and I hope they have him when he's bald not when he has hair :D He looks more scary without hair

It's impossible to make Wanderlei look good lol! He's my favourite fighter atm. In the shape of his life it seems. The dean of mean got raped brazilian style. He already has one win over Rampage and I hope he wins again. Rampage is a nutcase.

The body scans look really good! Stevenson has his chiseled gorilla arms along with his "soft" chest, and KenFlo has barely any muscle just like in real life. Kenny's nose is just as big too LOL! Good thing they did body-scans this time cus the other game's models sucked! I remember Tim Sylvia was ripped in one of the older UFC games which as far from reality as it gets.

This is eerie. First I agree with ultimolu/juuken and now I agree with you. MMA is teh sh!t and this is one of the games I'm looking forward to the most(this year?). I loved the Dreamcast UFC game and I hope this will be even better and do the sport justice.

UFC is my favorite. This game, from what I heard has a lot of fighters... I hope they can pull off the transitions of fighting styles. Every fighter is different and to have them all play the same would be sad.

The ground game is what has me worried. I want to throw someone in a Peruvian necktie!(or w./e)

Exactly. I want it to be tactical, to be able to time right and do reversals etc. If they do everything right it could become revolutionary for the fighting game genre.

I heard this game has over 80 fighters, thats over 16 fighters for each of the 5 weight classes. I only played the PS2 one, this has to be better than that. At the bottom of the page it says its out the 31st Dec? I thought it was out spring 2009? Has it been brought forward or something? please say it has.

Bro half the fighters u just named will not be in it because they are not in the UFC. Barnett and Fedor are with affliction, and overeem was from PRIDE i dont even know what happaned to him anymore.

No, he means he will make them fighters using the create a fighter mode. Overeem was on an event recently against Cro Cop, but it was a no contest i think because he kept kneeing Cro Cop in the nuts :D

i'll get this if they can make the animations in-game as a smooth or close to the CG. used to play the older versions and a lot of the animations were kinda stiff

side note.. wonder when we'll start seeing that natural motion/europhia(sp?) engine in fighting games

I follow most of the UFC fights and I have my favorite fighters. This game is by far the best translation of the sport into the video game realm. I can't wait.

Fight Night Round 3 was a Fun Game, but Boxing is falling out quickly... this UFC Game Looks Amazing and from what I hear it plays Great to.... the only thing I've seen Missing is the Fighters Sponsors on the Short???? I hope these guy get a borad soon before it's to late

This game should put Smackdown vs Raw games to shame and hopefully bury them. I don't care bout animations as long as the game play is sick, cause this will be a difficult game to make gameplay & controllwise. There are lots of fighing technics in ufc, & hopefully they acuratley depict each persons style because their organization is represented, considering their not so huge following and popularity at the level of Boxing and WWE.

As for fedor...not the best fighter in the world he fought tim silvia big deal! lately who has he pounded out? I'd like to see him and brock. I agree nogera looked a little to small in comparison to brock on dana's blog.
