VideoGamer.com writes: "All of the changes, all of the tweaks, all of the graphical upgrades, remixed music and refinements to the online experience make SSF2THDR one of the best remakes of a classic game in recent memory. Despite efforts to make it more accessible, it's clearly been designed for the hordes of Street Fighter fanatics that still pump hours into refining their combos and honing their strategies nearly 20 years after the first Street Fighter II game came out. This is one for the fans, and fans will absolutely love it. Take a bow Mr. Sirlin. You done good."

"Street Fighter II: The World Warrior wasn’t the first fighting game ever released, but it single-handedly helped shape the genre for decades to come."
I played street fighter 2 for years on my SNES even after I got my N64. It was just relaxing the way you could beat the snot out of such iconic characters.
Great news for all PS3 fans (blasphemyyyyyyyy, how can a PC gaming site talk about PS3 fans, how, HOW, HOOOOOOWWWWW) as RPCS3 is making a lot of progress. Since the launch of a Patreon campaign, its author has been working hard on it and it appears that its latest version can run a couple of games.
well it's not almost playable but very interesting. probably like a year or 2 from being fully playable
Carl Williams writes, "If you are reading this then you are probably a fan of retro games. Just taking a stab in the dark there. Well, we just found out that Capcom, one of the better retro supporting companies out there, has this package with Humble Bundle full of Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 games. You better hurry and grab this one because time is running out."
I wish Sony would get the licenses for all the classic arcade games from the 80s and 90s for the PS4.. I dont see why they wouldnt want to make money? I miss those brawlers like xmen, tmnt, etc.. So many great games people are forced to play on mame
I wish this never got delayed in the UK on Ps3. I was really looking forward to getting it. Good score too, looks like we'll have to wait till January.
10/10 for me just for bringing back great trash talk memories down at the arcades lolz
The title screen is absolutely badass
... but the sprites, the backgrounds, and the (choppy) animations all look extremely 'meh' to me.
For a true next-gen 2d sprite-based fighter, I'm more interested in what the next King of Fighters will bring us.
I have played SFII so many times that I got bored of SSFIITHDR very fast plus I have a slow connection (512kbps) and the game lags so much that I can't stand it. Everything looks just like a slideshow... I just threw $15 dollars to the trash. This is the first game since I got the PS3 that I have experienced so much lag... Not even Resistance 2 with all the chaotic action has this kind of lag.
If you have a slow connection like mine, don't buy the game or you'll going to regret it.
Now to count the disagrees...
