Funcom got off to a strong start earlier this year with the launch of Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, its big-budget MMO. The launch window was planned in part to give it a head start over the arrival of its two biggest competitors, EA's Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning and Blizzard's World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. Things looked promising at first, but after the initial glow wore off complaints about a lack of high-level content began to bubble up. Things didn't get much better when Gaute Godager, the game's director and one of its main creative forces, resigned from Funcom in September. IGN had a chance recently to ask his replacement, Craig Morrison, about the game's state and Funcom's plans.
It's another Birthday for a successful MMO, this time Age of Conan.
Funcom has released an update for free-to-play Hyborean RPG Age of Conan. This update adds Facebook integration to the game, allowing users to post certain achievements and screenshots directly to their Facebook accounts.
