Xbox Games Showcase Predictions

Kevin F. from Link-Cable writes: "Microsoft has announced that they will be delivering a full look at the future of gaming on their current and future consoles. Including a first-ever look at some campaign gameplay from Halo Infinite. With that being our only insight into this event, I thought I’d give some of my predictions on what we might see, and hope to see at this event. I’ll also drop a little rating on how likely we are to see the game during the event."

honestly i don't know what to expect but if they want me to shell out money for game pass they need to bring it. I'd pay more for game pass if they added stuff to make it enticing like new AAA ip's

I know, parting with £2 a week to play over 250 games is really hitting my wallet hard.

Yeah mediocre titles, i guess you pay for what you get. Still some 2 hour indie experiences can be better than full price buggy games

Don't be angry, demand the same from your plastic manufacturer.

The majority are not mediocre, go check out the list. The likes of Fallout 76, soul caliber VI, Blair Witch, DAYZ, no man's sky, Metro 2033/last light, Wolfenstein youngblood to name a few.

Add ALL xbox first party games on top of that, and yeah well worth the money!!!!

Can you even call games like Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, Devil May Cry 5, Monster Hunter World as "mediocre" ?

They have KH3, which I’m really surprised about. Never thought I would see a KH on Xbox let alone a main title on Gamepass

@dj shotty fallout 76 is trash so is blair witch, dayz, no man's sky and youngblood. You are really reaching with the games. I'd rather pay double the amount and get better games made for the service.

Ain't those new experiences, i.e. games that aren't released yet? And how about their Xbox game event which is literally tomorrow where they will announce more "newer experiences"? Are you saying you can't wait for just one more day?

I doubt if playground games is one of the best in the business. The same attention to detail they put into horizon will transfer to fable. I think they are gonna put out a Goty contender.

Boring mediocre games outside the "big" 3

So basically whats been happening since halfway through the 360's life......

Recore / ryse / quantum break / crackdown 3 / sot / state of decay 2 / halo 5 / bleeding edge / gow 5 mp (140 twitch viewers right now) / crimson dragon / kinect sport rivals / fighter within / korgan / halo wars 2 and gears tactics (17 & 10 viewers respectively on twitch, civ games have 90 times more viewers)

I expect more of that sprinkled with halo forza gears

It'll be a huge showcase of BC titles running, with the odd new one like Halo Infinite.
It'll also be a huge disappointment too, especially after the massive hype going into it.
