goodfellajay.podomatic.com - LOL!

Let me know when someone of some sort of importance in the Game industry has something to say.

socomnick5658d ago

Its no different from the countless blogs that were posted claiming nxe was causing widespread rrods. only difference is the nxe stories were spreading false news, and these are a someones opinions.

ThatCanadianGuy5658d ago

How do you know they were fake?

Did you do a worldwide survey to ask every single xbox360 owner if their console died? Did you? What's that? You didn't?

Or course not.

Actually..what does this even have to do with the "NXE" are you really that offended by those articles that you're still moaning about it?

Go play with you're Mii-Atars.

Deviant5658d ago

there is a difference between a story about somebodys opinion and a story based on "facts"

Pennywise5658d ago

yeah socomnick... rrod is a lie. You keep telling yourself that good buddy. Oh, while we are at it... the scratched discs are a lie too. My friend does not have a scratched unplayable GeoW2 disc. Damn bloggers.

ultimolu5657d ago

...You are way off your rocker socomnick.

SmokeyMcBear5657d ago

haha funny socom.. guess all those posts and threads at the official xbox forums were fake too... too funny

This is the worst podcast I've ever taken my time to listen to.

BrianC62345657d ago

So is Playstation Uncensored just another way to say Sony Haters? I never heard of their podcast and I sure won't bother listening to it now. This is the biggest problem with the Web now is all these idiots popping up who think we care what they think. I don't even pay attention to what real gaming sites say anymore.

PS3n3605657d ago

Attacking people personally is against posting rules, especially in Gamer zone. Not sure how you got so many bubbles but you should tone it down a notch. Its only video games, don't let it hurt your feelings so much.

UnwanteDreamz5657d ago

For the record I want to say that HOME is going to be good. It is not a game it is a community and it will soar in that respect. I have been in the 1.0 for only like 2 days and 1.0 has less to offer than the last beta version. That being said I have met alot of people who share my intrests in just 2 days my friends list has doubled. I am logging in just to see whats going on.

To the naysayers just wait!

gaffyh5657d ago

@socomnick - could you please give evidence before you spout bullsh*t? If you have proof against the RRoDs then post that, I'm not saying I believe those stories, but a lot of those "blogs" were more reputable than your opinion.

Also @ this story - Home is pretty good, surprisingly lag-free, but shopping center is completely dead, and the theatre takes a long time to load stuff.

deeznuts5657d ago

I'll take a blog more seriously whenever the can follow simple grammatical rules.

"A EPIC FAIL?" It sounds so funny it should have been caught immediately upon typing.

Elimin85657d ago (Edited 5657d ago )

The title of the article alone turned me away... Is H@me a? it's "an"...... had the title made any sense I might have read it.

acedoh5657d ago

I must say this product is many times better than what was originally available. I think SONY is slowly working out the final quirks and seeing if it can successfully handle large amounts of people using it. The HOME 1.0 many of you have seen is nothing near what was available a week ago. Game rooms will be available that will be bonuses like Uncharted and others. The shopping area will have personalized stores with products from brands like Nike and they will have a speaker area where you will be able to watch live feeds from shows like E3... Not to mention the club room is a major step for those of us who have clans... I see a lot of potential here and I think the finished product will be something fun for everyone...

egm_hiphopgamer5656d ago

Goodfella Jay is not allowed at E3 09 or GDC 09 any game industry event because if i'm there he's not gonna show up straight from the hiphopgamer i got this on smash ask goodfella jay your self you'll see he nervous he don't want it all he do is talk at home in florida that's it

It's pointless comparing a beta to a rolled out interface/service like Live. How about we compare once Home is finally released with all its whistles and bells? Otherwise what are we going to achieve in using a Beta as a source for comparison other than concluding that "it seems unfinished"?

antt35657d ago

Meus Renaissance, thank you. It needed to be said. Bubbles+++

Willio5657d ago

Gran Turismo Prologue did better than Forza. Thats all i got to say.

Blakzhuk5657d ago

Too bad GT5P isn't as good as Forza.

Willio5656d ago

thats like saying apples are better than oranges. your opinion vs mine. Sales dont lie.

All I've heard is positives from the newest version of home. even from people that hated it before. Makes me think this is just flambait, but I don't have HOME so I can't say for sure.

Orange5657d ago

my beta invite came friday. there isn't much to do beyond customizing your character, but the environments are great and the potential is there.

i said in another post that i'm excited to have friends and relatives in my "apartment" voice chatting with our characters and launching a game, but I'm the only one I know that's in the beta.

my one beef is that every time i go in the damn bowling alley, there isn't a free lane or open pool table. come on...can't you increase the size of the bowling alley or something?

Flipgeneral5657d ago

Had the chance to chill on home for a while. It's a pretty neat thing they have going on there. I like it already and there's still a lot more to be added

antt35657d ago

As Meus Renaissance said, most of the negative things that can be said about Home at this point are due to it's status as a beta. More than likely the bowling alley will increase in size, or else there will be more than one in the final version. The mall will actually have merchandise, and that music player people dance around will have more than 3 songs on it.

I'm just glad to get a sneak peek of Home.

vicheous5658d ago

If you don't like the language then don't listen!

It's a good podcast!

Nearly Half Of Gamers Play Video Games To "Express Themselves," Study Finds

Many players find it easier to express themselves while playing games. Yet, over half of the surveyed gamers still play to relieve stress.

H92h ago

I wonder what place made this study, and it's Fandom, no wonder half of the people said that, I find it hilarious that Fandom of all places did manage to pull more than 50% for the argument of playing games for self expression

Wolfenstein: The New Order - A Highly Rated FPS That Hasn't Stood the Test of Time

Wolfenstein: The New Order launched 10 years ago today, but can it stand up to the modern FPS titles it inspired?

Seth_hun5h ago

I disagree. Its still a fantastic game, with very good gunplay and a surprisingly loveable cast of characters and a good story trough many different and interesting setpieces

hiawa231h ago(Edited 1h ago)

All The New Order needs for my tastes is a this gen enhancement patch.

ChasterMies54m ago

I played New Order a couple of years after launch and I give it an 8/10. The shooter holds up because it is focused on being a good shooter. There is no crafting, no RPG elements, no open world find the question mark Weapons are fun. Enemies are fun. Levels offer a nice mix of stealth and shooting. You get to be the predator; this isn’t a game about fending off waves of enemies while a robot companion unlocks a door. Most importantly, New Order is the last of a dying breed of single player shooters.

Abear2112m ago

Weird all the Wolfenstein articles.

Can you guess what will be announced at Xbox showcase?
