PowerUp! - "Ultimately, let down by a lacklustre combat system that is far too repetitive and frequent, Paper Mario: The Origami King is only... ok. It's still worth playing for the wonderful visuals and excellent storytelling but don't expect a true Mario RPG."

The first time they showed the combat it was obvious they somehow managed to take how long it took to play a single card in combat on the wii U with a system that would waste even more of your time. Super Paper Mario was the last good one. Stick Star can vanish and nothing would change in the series minus Color Spash might not have had that horrible battle system too. Please stop thinking turn based combat. There is so much wasted potential for mario to transform and fold himself into ways for him to fight enemies on screen with. Action based. Paper mario for a moment started to have its own identity but then threw it away to be lost in limbo.
Uh oh. Maybe I should've pre-ordered Ghost of Tsushima instead.
