"Based on our playtime, it can take roughly 20 hours to complete Ghost of Tsushima if you're focusing strictly on clearing the main storyline. Completists can tack a few more hours onto that runtime as the game also features a number of side missions and other activities to do, so it can take you upwards of 30 hours or more to finish the title if you're dedicated to seeing all there is."

For me, someone who did every single objective and collected everything, it was over 40 hours

Silly gameAr1409d ago

What did you think of the game?

Nitrowolf21409d ago (Edited 1409d ago )

@Silly

I loved it, which surprised me seeing some of these lower scores TBH.

Its really fun, and the story is great

@Ghost Below

You have no idea, I started the game and ended up like 3 hours before getting to the main first quest after the intro

I'm sure you got sidetracked with photo mode as well? Glad you enjoyed it, man. Cheers.

Friday cannot come soon enough!!!
after TLOU2 debacle, i need something fresh to play. Open world samurai YEAHHH

starchild1409d ago

Yeah, I can see it taking me at least that long. I always spend so much time taking in the scenery in games like this.

nix1408d ago

Maybe this will be the game where I'll take sweet time to finish it.

50-60 hours if you "do everything" actually.

King_Noctis1408d ago

That is a good length. Already preorder the game, looking forward to July 17th.

sushimama1409d ago

It will be 40 at the very least for me I'd wager. I'll go for the Plat. Play on Hard and take a shitload of pics in photo mode. Take in the sights.

LoveSpuds1409d ago

Sounds like a plan mate, I'll be doing the same 😊

Have a great time duder.

JEECE1409d ago

Sounds like a 25ish hour game for me, which is fine. TLOU2 was almost exactly 25 hours for me, but I plan to play this one at a more leisurely pace than that one.

SonyStyled1409d ago

I think I’m past the 25hr mark in Part 2, but I’ve been searching every corner for supplies. Just passed the skyscraper hotel. Had to quit for the day before I enter the hospital for supplies. I’m only putting 1-2 hours of playtime per day. The first week I was 3-4 hrs per day. It’s a bit long in my opinion, but has a greater atmosphere than Part 1

ABizzel11408d ago

You're getting close to the end. You have about another 8 hours max if you keep playing the way you have been.

RedDevils1408d ago

Spoiler.
You gonna love the hospital part. Better come with ammunition lol

Flewid6381408d ago

TLOU2 took me 36hrs and 48min per my save file.

franwex1409d ago

So about 30 for me. Not that it matters too much, i just find these metrics interesting.

zsquaresoff1409d ago

I will platinum this game so it’ll be around 40-50 hours for me. Totally get my moneys worth.
