Horizon Zero Dawn 2 New Gameplay Details on Locations, Enemy Tribes, Mechanical Beasts and More

We now know that the Horizon games are intended to be a trilogy, and thus much will be left unexplained to give us a reason to buy a PS6, but the trailer for Horizon: Forbidden West already begins that good work by answering a lot of questions – and raising new ones.

Did she say PS6? was she meant to say PS5?

Shadowolf1418d ago

Yes, she said PS6. She was referring to the games trilogy, which based on the series development cycle may very well end on the PlayStation 6.

I think if they're going to do another game, it might still come out on the PS5. Especially if they've now made it into a trilogy....even though they wrapped up Aloy's story fairly well to be a single game. Not that I'm upset they're expanding on it, just that they may already have pre-production done on the next game, and since they have the base of the game done since the first one, it speed up sequels quite a bit.

Why are people still calling it Horizon Zero Dawn 2 when the sequel already has its own subtitle?

Maybe because there is a "II" in the logo and they even changed the original logo and put a "I" in it.

1. Better and more varied melee combat
2. Flying mounts
3. A more dynamic open world and maybe underwater areas
4. More set pieces. I liked The Proving

I have a feeling Horizon 2 will up for GOTY like the 1st game

I think Horizon Zero Dawn was a solid 8/10 game honestly. It was impressive on technical aspect, but gameplay wise it had little to no replayability. And this is coming from someone who 100% the game, got platinum and did all dlc trophies l. Technical marvel? Sure. Goty? Not for me personally, but it is a good game.

Ive played through 3 times. Sometimes you just want a familiar flavor. The visuals are like dessert.

Good points. I’d also adopt Witcher 3’s zero encumbrance for crafting/alchemy ingredients. Seashell takes up 0.03, pearl inside takes up nothing. Hoard more or give me a storage chest.

For Guerrilla to make the game in their own time and pace, just don't rush it.

I keep hoping we will see a Crimson Skies announcement, even just a HD remake, but it is unlikely.

I do think that we might see a new Red Faction this year also a HD redo of Kingdoms of Amalur

Spenok1583d ago

Man I want an HD Remake of Kingdoms SOO badly!

anonymousfan1583d ago

I'm just hyped for any next gen announcements really software and hardware :)
