TechRaptor writes, "Grand Theft Auto IV has received a new update. This is the first update the game has had for quite some time. It appears to reintroduce songs that were previously removed due to licensing issues, but there's a pretty severe cost attached."
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.

Grand Theft Auto 4 is an important game for Rockstar, not least because it was the first title in the franchise to use the newly created RAGE engine.
The songs that are coming back were not the majority of the removed songs from the ten year expiration e.g smashing pumpkins, Joel Ortiz, 90% of vladstock.
Instead it's a fix for the songs that could not be included at first on the GTA IV complete edition finally merging the two games into one exe two months back with no graphical improvements or bug fixes the final.mission is still broken on modern CPUs but we finally got cloud saves which have apparently bugged out. Basically they finally put vice city FM back into the game. Well until their ten year period is up this year
