This is why you never pay attention to the rumored PS+ games articles that come out every fucking month. They do it for clicks because it gets people excited, and they are always wrong. The only time the games are known early is when they are leaked with official pictures of the games, which has only happened a handful of times. Don't blame Sony for the games not being what you wanted. I don't really care for these games myself, but I'm not bothered by it either.

Not always. Last month the lineup leaked via the PlayStation Access Youtube channel which we reported on. Obviously that is a reliable source. You just have to look where the leak is coming from. If it's just from some random image or some random person you best not believe it.

well for me it went from two games ive got and platinumed to two games ive never tried....and probably never would have without them being on ps plus so im happy! especially skylines being a game that ive always wanted to try but didnt want to buy in case i didnt like it....now i can :-)

The reason why we had those is because around this time, before the start of a new generation, PlayStation is the target of certain negative advertising campaigns aimed at destroying the goodwill of the PlayStation brand. These vary from negative or doom and gloom articles to rumor campaigns, and everything else in between.

I never imagined they would be good but a few years ago they had one of the older games for Vita on PS Plus in Japan. I got well into it. Got the platinum. Bought two more of them.

They are just mindless grinding but I found them really addictive and great for chilling out.

Never played a console version.

I can't speak for everyone but ALOT of people outside of N4G are not happy with this lineup from what I'm seeing. No month is going to appeal to everyone but a lineup as niche as these ain't going to go down well with either casuals or hardcore players.

Unsubscribed to ps plus over a year ago and haven't regretted it once. Meanwhile Xbox Game Pass is giving me Red Dead Redemption 2 next week. I own and use both consoles equally but Sony is insulting their paying customers with these lineups while Microsoft has been spoiling me month after month with AAA titles.

Careful guys, I complained about “free games” Not being so great from a paid membership and basically got torn a new a**hole.

Is it ok to complain about these ones? I mean farming simulator 19, really? I mean I just saw a bunch of games for $8 on Amazon that included The Evil Within 2. Of all old games in the PS library, these 2 are what they pick?

Farming Simulator, OK, I could understand how some people would be disappointed by this (even though I'll still give it a go), but Cities Skylines? You guys have no right to feel cheated on this one, it's a superb city builder. If it weren't for its overpriced dlc in heaps and bounds, it would be pretty much perfect. I've made a very cool city that makes a mockery of the one I had built in Big City Stories, even though at this point managing my city had become such a conundrum that I'm playing in God mode (Infinite money and almost everything unlocked). I'm so thankful to whoever that was who decided to port this game over from the PC to the PS4, that sadly seldom happens.
Plus the music played by the default radio stations is kickass. Seriously, give it a try.

Really weird for both games to be resource management games, but whatever. City Skylines is very popular on PC and a lot of fun if you liked Sim City. Even just the traffic management aspect is cool (tip: bypass tunnels work wonders). I'll give it a shot on PS4. I was honestly hoping Dying Light really was going to be one of the games but there's no way they'd do that AND Dark Souls.
