Asobo is a very talented company and Microsoft has been working with them for years now on everything from Xbox to Windows Phone...they need to acquire them asap. I also really hope this tech gets shared to all of XGS, its simply too good to be used just for this game...jaw dropping.

I doubt you'll see this tech in many games. It requires a constant internet connection for asset streaming, something everybody on N4G is against.

krauley1464d ago (Edited 1464d ago )

the shear amount of data your going to have to move through your system to get the best possible visuals may be very expensive to some gamers simming/playing this game.

timotim1464d ago (Edited 1464d ago )

No it wouldn't it. I'm not suggesting that every game attempt to use the whole world as its gameplay sandbox. Having access to this tech, yet using it in different scenarios is what I'm suggesting. Take a racer as an example that uses real world locations...they might use this tech for cinematic presentation purposes to display aerial views of the track from above...lots of different scenarios could work though.

maybe you don't want to understand the fact not everyone has the best internet(i know it's hard to believe but i am talking about places within USA who barely get good internet speeds)

ElementX1464d ago

@neutral
WTF does that have to do with anything I said? I never commented about internet speeds and I'm fully aware of the bandwidth issues for many people, which is why I said you won't see the tech in many games.

yes that's the answer keep buying up everyone. How about leave some of these studios independent and help them succeed. Look at Remedy they are doing fine without being bought out

King_Noctis1464d ago

Would you tell Sony to not buy up studios as well?

neutralgamer19921463d ago

King

Yes because they have bought one in insmoniac who many thought were already PlayStation based studio

They didn't buy QD who made heavy rain, B2S and Detroit and they have yet to buy bluepoint

King_Noctis1463d ago

“ Yes because they have bought one in insmoniac who many thought were already PlayStation based studio ”

Yet Insomniac made Sunset Overdrive which is exclusive to MS’s platform before being acquired by Sony. So I don’t know how people thought Insomniac was already “Playstation based studio”.

Go read some comments from the day it was announced vast majority of the comments were like oh I thought they were already with Sony

They made fuse under EA and SSOD with Ms before returning with ratchet and clank and Spiderman

I hope to see XSX gameplay next month.

sprinterboy1464d ago (Edited 1464d ago )

Never been xbox at all, always playstation but I have to admit playstation is day 1 followed by flight sim as I was a huge fan back in 90s with my pc gaming.
I'll either get a series X to play flight sim or use my future TV to stream gamepass and project xcloud.

CaptainHenry9161464d ago (Edited 1464d ago )

Waiting to upgrade my gpu this year. still waiting on the 3000 series announcement from Nvidia to experience this beautiful game in Ultra settings in 4K 60fps or 120fps.

Yes, tried Emirates from Heathrow to Dubai. The only plane I managed to get a proper sleep haha. It is loaded with cool technology, like you can see the outside cameras on your inflight entertainment. And despite the 4 engines, it is still very quiet. Incredible!
