Tsutaya's(a major retail chain) MD Matsuo reports in his latest column at Mainichi.jp that Way of the Samurai 3 was at the top of the sales charts for the week covering November 10 through November 16. Not only did it push Kirby out of the top slot, but it also beat Konami's Tongari Boushi to Mahou no 365-nichi on the DS.
From GameWatcher: "If you can bear with us here, Way of the Samurai 3 is actually the next entry in the series for PC, whilst also being the predecessor to Way of the Samurai 4 which released late last year, with both games being ported from Sony’s crusty PS3 console thanks to Japanese curio specialists Ghostlight. Cast as a half-dead samurai on the losing side of battle who awakens in its aftermath, Way of the Samurai 3, much like all the other games in the series thus far, is an affair which prides itself on almost boundless player choice whilst imbuing it all with a distinctly Japanese sense of humour."

Oooh, forgot Automatron was coming out. Now I wish I'd bought the season pass when it was still at regular price. :/
I had a feeling that game would do well.It looks pretty fun.
Anyone know if it's coming to the west??
Damn, i thought that the ps3 was a top system seller for a minute lol
Its a definite must get if you know Japanese or have some knowledge.
So far the game is cool and its supposed to have a 100+ sword fest where you can hunt for or find these swords. Different moves and skill sets will definitely have me grinding this game for a while.
Over all its a great game so far.
