NWR: Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa Review

Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is filled with a lot of unnecessary elements - like touch screen mini-games - that attempt to extend the life of a short game. It is perfectly suited to children who enjoyed the movies and can overlook the game's more glaring flaws. Most everyone else should skip what is simply a mediocre platformer that brings nothing new to the genre.

Join the gang from Madagascar in a whole new adventure from the folks at Activision. If you are a big fan of hilarious animal escapades, this is the game for you. Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, Gloria the Hippo and Julien the Lemur King are together again, in this action packed adventure! To get back to their cushy New York zoo, the troublesome penguins have fixed (sort of!) a plane for the other animals. When the plane crash lands in Africa the gang must begin on a wacky journey through the African plains!

TTFF: Madagascar 2 Review

TTFF:

"All in all, Madagascar 2 packs a lot of fun for all ages. The
characters' personalities and comments keep it lively and the variety
of challenges and games keep the game play fun. Even though we haven't
been out to see the movie yet, we found the game very enjoyable and it
has increased anticipation to see the movie although it may have also
allowed us to wait a little longer since we have the game to entertain
us for now."
