Got that retro survival horror bug? Here's Chit Hot's picks for the seven best survival horror games from yesteryear.
Eternal Darkness was way ahead of its time especially for a Nintendo exclusive.
I would love to see a remake or sequel (multiplatform)

GameFlavor's Resident Evil First Aid Drink is making a comeback, offering high quality Resident Evil merch.
Games like Lethal Company end up scary because of their freeform nature, while Resident Evil's polish and storytelling ultimately make them rather tame in comparison. Agree or disagree?
Lisa Trevor should be on the list
mr. x isn't scary he is an annoyance. In my opinion that's lazy development to just make a character who can show up anywhere and than can't be killed and now for RE3 they are going overboard. In old games it was a necessity due to hardware limitations and jump scares
I didn't find Margurerite scary she was a cool character the bug crotch she had was a weird idea but for some reason it was a good idea. I love Nemesis my fave in the RE franchise Mr.X wasn't scary at all he was just a guy who followed you and made loud foot steps. I love RE I just don't find RE games scary at all I would choose Dead Space as a scary game if you're new to scary games and haven't played Dead Space before.
There are many, but in RE5 the reaper with its theme was scariest thing in the game as far as i can remember.
The first zombie if you played the first Resident Evil back in 1996 was a moment that changed you forever lol.
