Lyam writes: The game is split into two parts. First, it’s very heavy in the visual novel department. The cast is always having long conversations that provide content to the story as well as giving them personality. It establishes which characters you’ll likely want to use throughout the gameplay. It was a bit surprising just how much dialogue is going on though as often you’ll spend way more time reading before and after fights, then the fights themselves.
Daily Video Game writes: "This weekend's gaming deals at Amazon include plenty of games for multiple gaming platforms, so regardless of what gaming platforms you have, you will be able to save up to 75% off on several PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch games."
"While the trailers may sell it off as an action-packed spectacle, most of your time will be spent through dialogue and visual novel moments that can often spend far too long over-explaining the story and introducing characters that rarely matter in the grand scheme of things. Crosswave is tiresome, often boring, and its combat lacks the depth of even the most shallow body of water. " Jeff Young - Analog Stick Gaming
