Xbox One X bundles discounted to $299

Three different Xbox One X bundles have been discounted to under $300. The Gears 5, NBA 2K20, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order bundles normally retail for $500.

An Xbox One is worth buying if you don't have a 4K Bluray player. Then sign up for Game Pass. Tons of great games. I have Playstation plus, but Game Pass is way better.

IMO these are the prices we might be seeing this holiday.

PS4 / XBO: $149 bundle / $199 bundles
PS4 Pro: $249 bundle
Xbox X: $299 bundle
Series S: $399
PS5: $499
Series X: $599

I said holiday pricing, not Black Friday. The old consoles could very well drop lower, but the MSRP will likely be the prices listed above.

Yeh but ps plus it's just the price of the subscription...

game pass have to pay for the subscription AND the Game Pass, or you get one of their ultimate bundles, which ends up being about 15 a month! To NOT own any games...

Ie... can't TRADE them in when I'm FINISHED, ALSO, I like to BUY and get cash back on my credit CARD, at the end of the year, this adds up to lots of vouchers... I give to people for Xmas presents... Saves me a fortune!

I just got the gears 5 X from another party for $170 but $299 for brand new with all the games included (mine didnt include the vouchers for gears 1-5) is still a hell of a deal.

That's insane. One year younger and originally $100 more than the Pro and it's now selling for LESS than the Pro. This was $500 just a year ago

That's what happens when Xbox has been disappointing sales wise for a few years now. The X didn't sell well and this explains the drastic price drop.

I got mine last January for $250 + PUBG + 3 months of XBL.

I'm all for more of this competition that allows for deep cuts to get people to invest more regularly. It's not a great sign for MS on the hardware front, but, it's beneficial to consumers at least.

i bet the lockhart console will probably come in at the same price point. I wouldn’t be surprised if they keep the onex at this price until launch of the new consoles

It depends entirely on if they're using the same/similar CPU (which would almost be foolish not to, for ease of development) and what GPU they're using.

At this point production cost of the Xbox-X should be around $300, so they're probably taking a small loss on each unit sold at this price and making it up with XBL and GamePass subscriptions rolling over into paid subscriptions.

Lockhart with better hardware is highly unlikely to launch at the same price of what the XBO-X is currently sitting at. I suspect Lockhart will be a $400 console, as the CPU upgrade is substantially better then what the XBO-X has, and the GPU that's a bit better in overall performance (6500 XT equivalent).

If this happens it'll be a really interesting launch. do you go for the cheapest entry console with GamePass over 3 generation that games in 1440p@60fps for new games, and upto 4K@60fps in old games.

Do you go for the PS5 and Sony's exclusives and PS4 backwards compatibility, while playing their new games at up to 4K@60fps, but generally upscaled to 4K.

Or buy the most expensive console to play the games at native 4K in most games up to 60fps, with GamePass support.

Or stick with a XBO-X until the price drops on all the consoles and still play MS first party games for just $299 and in 1440p@30fps.

These deals are going on all the time. Regularly seeing the X for less than 300 with games and gamepass subs.

Makes you wonder how much stock is just sitting on the shelves. Rarely do I see such significant price reduction deals for the PS4 or switch. And also I rarely see stacks of those systems at the customer service areas of Best Buy or in the electronics at target.
