ROFL!!!!!

UltraNova1556d ago

This is frickin unbelievable...

Sony should have Media Molecule start work on a rival engine to Unreal asap!

iplay1up21556d ago

Uh, I play it on X1X and it is stable. I have zero issues.

IamTylerDurden11556d ago

Dreams is incredible and will likely battle TLoU for game of the year. Critical scores are often untrustworthy and sites like Metacritic even less so, but Dreams is a 93 Opencritic and well deserving. Hopefully ppl take notice and pay the modest $40 price tag for this revolutionary title. https://opencritic.com/game...

Crazyglues1556d ago (Edited 1556d ago )

Wait, What... My Mind is blown, how is this even possible... Just Wow, OMG! this is crazy.. Video Game Design will never be the same, now if you have a great game idea just go make it, and show the world.... wow

CaptainOmega1557d ago

I’m really thinking about getting this gem. It would be so cool to say, make the SOCOM’s or Halo’s.

ssj271557d ago

I was just thinking it will be so easy to clean socom. And xroad plus like 6 more maps add online capabilities to it. Does anyone know if they are coming i think they are and when?

remixx1161556d ago

Yeah they confirmed multiplayer and vr are coming soon after launch. I'm think about recreating derelict with 4 player free for all from Halo.

Yo could you imagine a recreation of frost fire from socom 2.

ilikestuff1556d ago

Dang, I was just complaining about remakes in dreams earlier but, I’d play a socom so hard. I stand corrected, some one please make a socom.

ssj271556d ago

I haven't make any game but i wouldn't mind putting few months of work on recreating xroad frostfire plus couple other epic socom maps it doesn't seem complicated. Actually i been seen levels design videos obviously takes time. And i am a tattoo artist so i have some artist talents on me. I will spend most of the time actually refining the movement animation and bullets detection damege to be honest lol i don't even care much about looks at this point if those are not polished abd working good but what bothers me is that sony doesn't allow me to play it online part unless i subscribe to plus and that's not fair. They want us to buy the console to buy a tv to pay for online internet bill and get the game plus the want us now to get ps plus and make games for them i dont mind making it if is for my entertainment and pleasure since i see devs failing big time . If this was on the ps3 wow we would already have a socom remake by new long time ago by us the users.

Teflon021557d ago

I need a online create with friends option and this game is complete.

Well and to be able to do things like 8 players online if I'm making say a kart racing stage lol

Karambit1557d ago

The real fallout 4 looks better.

Cmv381557d ago

Even if that's true, that's hardly important. This is a very pathetic comment. Let me guess, you don't have access to this game.

medman1556d ago

@Cmv38
Hey, stop hitting that nail on the head. That nail has had enough!

tinchotin1557d ago

At some places it doesn't. LOL

rainslacker1557d ago

Yeah, a team of 100 people working 4-5 years with a hundred million dollar budget is probably going to make something that looks better than a guy working in a new game engine, over the course of a week, without pay.

neutralgamer19921557d ago

Double if not triple the employees for fallout 4

Dreams is just out to public now imagine what will be possible once others become familiar with game tools and mm improve via patches

Godmars2901557d ago

Don't most fan-modders "work without pay" to fix Fallout and Skyrim?

Just sayin...

rainslacker1557d ago

I'm not speaking out against the creator here. Just the OP.

And yes, they do work without pay, and props to them for doing so, because the devs certainly don't seem to do it.

Godmars2901556d ago

The actual devs likely aren't allowed to do proper jobs because of supervisors and production schedules. Forced to use old builds and assets.

Vanfernal1556d ago

Ironically... This probably runs smoother than the bug ridden messes that are Bethesda games. XD

MadLad1557d ago

The real Fallout 4 cost millions of dollars, hundreds of devs, and countless hours of development.

This is a fan work, made by two people, in a short amount of time, in an engine people are still learning.

pgrzeszczyk1556d ago

Maybe it does, but it still looks impressive!

If there was one PC version that should have existed it’s Dreams

I’m super glad they will be going back to something more traditional gaming wise.

Cacabunga16d ago

I’m sure they’ll find something creative to implement like Tearaway on vita. What a gem 💎 that thing was!!!

Abear2116d ago

My dream was DreamsVR and creating landscapes, characters, and sculptures using that amazing toolbox in vr, that would have been something imo.

ocelot0716d ago

I thought It has vr support?

Amplitude16d ago

It did but it came out as an update LONG after the game was essentially dead

P_Bomb16d ago

Dreams PC was the dream. Woulda given the game a much needed boost. Here’s hoping they follow it up well.

phoenixwing16d ago

If sony had any sense they'd be making a pc version pronto

mkis00716d ago

They probably ran into the same problem they did with the potential of last of us factions....the support needed was just too much to consider expanding to more platforms for a smallish studio.

Abnor_Mal16d ago (Edited 16d ago )

I use to say this when the game was first releasing, many kept saying it would not be possible, something about the toolsets.

I said this was one game that needed to be on as many platforms as possible, including PC and Xbox just like how Minecraft is everywhere.

Goodguy0116d ago

Creation tools just don't work on console very well. It's definitely more suited for PC, and it's very odd Sony decided not to port it over. Good MM is working on an actual game instead.

Dreams Dev Media Molecule Says Layoffs Impact Planned Community and Curation Support

IGN writes: "Media Molecule has said the layoffs at the Sony-owned studio have affected plans for ongoing community and curation support in Dreams."

Inverno60d ago

How self sustained can DREAM be when it's basically stuck on PS4? I don't think it's even gotten a PS5 upgrade. Ending support for what is essentially a game making engine is basically death. SONY did DREAMS dirty.
