My guess is yes. Obviously Sony has a long relationship with them with games like Super Stardust, Resogun, Dead Nation, Alienation, and Nex Machina. Shu has also tweeted a lot about visiting them. I wouldn't be surprised if their AAA project is PS5 exclusive.

I really hope Sony come in and supports them for something big. They've been struggling for a while and they are just too damn talented to simply disappear.

sampsonon1612d ago

Sony should buy the company and get them to make great arcade style games like Resogun.
put all the power of the ps5 into a arcade style games? yes please. this is what's been missing from gaming for a while. i know indie devs make such games but not on the level that Sony could if they said "here's 40 million. makes a great arcade game in the same vain as Resogun."

take my money

ApocalypseShadow1613d ago

I think so too. They've always brought a fun game to play. Although I want more Dead Nation, I'd like to see what else they can do. Like really go for it.

gangsta_red1613d ago (Edited 1613d ago )

Maybe it'll be another BR game. Or they'll port the one they're making to the PS5.

darthv721612d ago

God i hope so. I love their games like dead nation, super stardust and resogun.

tochi1612d ago

Obviously. They saved launch of PS3 with Super Stardust HD, and then did it again for PS4 with Resogun. They will do it again for PS5 for sure.

Traecy1612d ago

Hopefully so! I love HouseMarque games,I have them all for my PS3 & 4.

I’ve got it, never played it. Prey is a game I really wanted to like and it’s a game I really should have liked, everything about it is right up my street. But I just don’t know what it was but I just couldn’t stick with it.

He is being sarcastic because this is clearly another battle for N4G propaganda news article to try and filter out the bad Microsoft articles. It is ancient news.

Interesting that Konami is releasing nothing of note and still enjoying high profits. I guess this is the allure to companies.

VenomUK3h ago

It was probably due to the half-hearted release of the Metal Gear Solid Collection v1.

Imagine the extra sales Konami could’ve made if it had put some effort into it.

SimpleDad5h ago

Of course, they rereleased MGS series on modern platforms. Thank You Mr. Kojima.
